Let's Learn English! Topic: Inventions and Some Idioms! (Lesson Only Version - No Viewer Questions)

This is the "Lesson Only" version of my English lesson about inventions and some English idioms that include the names of inventions. It does not contain the viewer questions that I answered during the lesson, they have been edited out. It is great for those of you learning English that like to re-watch the lesson or to use in an English classroom.
In this English video lesson I'll teach you some vocabulary and phrases you'll need to know to be able to understand native English speakers when they talk about inventions or use some idioms with the names of inventions in them!
I hope you enjoyed learning a few more English words and phrases that you can use to talk about inventions.
The full English lesson can be found right here: • Let's Learn English! T...
The slides to go with this lesson can be found right here:
docs.google.com/document/d/1L...
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

What I wanna say is this is by far the most favourite English program, how to say, when u made up ur mind to learn English as a native, maybe this is the best way to get to know their way to talk about things.

As a native here is some help on your path. English is hard but americans are good at helping you on your path. I think the best ways to learn are from Kids TV shows, KZread, and friends that have that as their first language. TRUST ME! This will work!!

Now this class remind me of something funny regarding the invention of the refrigerator to keep food cold. Some years ago, when I was a child, I used to live in a place where there were not any good things like the refrigerator, clock, or other services like these. Once my mother killed a chicken and cooked jus half of the chicken and saved the other half for the next day. She hanged the chicken outside with a piece of stream, she hanged on a branch of a tree and when she went to pick up the chicken, a cat had gotten it and only the piece of the stream was hanging on the branch. My mother was very angry and we the children, we're just lounging.

Try to study smaller parts at a time. Slow the video down to help with comprehension. Also these longer lessons don't have transcripts. You might want to watch the shorter videos and tun on the English subtitles.

Hi dear teacher! These topic only lessons are really good idea! I am watching it now because I missed the lesson! I spent a week in a small village in Old Crimea. I went there with my friends by their car. We lived in a private house it was rather cheap but it didn't have a flush toilet! All the " comforts" were outside in the back yard! But there was a sea just behind the gates! It was very great time!
