Let's Learn English! Topic: Hard to Pronounce Words! 🐿️🩺☕

In this English lesson I'll help you learn how to pronounce some challenging English words. Some of them look hard to pronounce, but are actually quite simple. Some of these words look like a mouthful, and they are! I'll be sure to go over all of the proper and common pronunciations for each word, and give you a picture to help you remember the meaning.
In this free English lesson you'll learn vocabulary like: squirrel, stethoscope, bouquet, espresso, subtle, mischievous, sherbet, queue, translucent, choir, drought, unique, silhouette, and many more!
I hope you enjoy this English class on words that are hard to pronounce. I hope you can use some of these words in your next English conversation.
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Hello teacher Bob, I hope you're well. I've been following you for about four years, and I truly appreciate the efforts you put in for us. Over the years, I've noticed that you are a rational and open-minded person who enjoys researching a lot. That's why I just wanted to ask you to take a deeper look at Islam. I've noticed a significant number of foreigners and even celebrities embracing this religion. I hope you'll read my message someday and consider it seriously. Apologies in advance for the lengthy message.

54:38 Yes, Rachel is great !!! 🤗♥️ She often uses short parts of the famous sitcom “Friends” to show THE American 🇺🇸 pronunciation, especially of New-York. 😊👍 It’s interesting to practice and understand US slang and street language. 😉🇺🇸 She was a great inspiration to build and create my own teaching methods. 😅

Thanks to our unique Bob for this last lesson in 2023, I'm afraid I couldn't be there in the live lesson, nevertheless I've already catched it up! Btw, yes there're so many words you showed which are definitely french ones : Ricochet (faire un ricochet dans une rivière avec un galet) Fluorescent, stethoscope, unique, bouquet, translucide, Queue (faire la queue ou être dans la file d'attente), des ciseaux, Silhouette (Not many people know that it comes from : Étienne de Silhouette who was a minister of the french king Louis XV, since he had the habit of drawing the profiles of his guests on the walls of his home, so little by little this kind of drawings had been called : Silhouette) Bob, Enjoy your New Year Eve with your family and see you next year 😁👍

Silhouette is a French word and we took it over too, we pronounce it quite the same (we would understand it the same way you pronounce) but we write it somehow else. How Do You Pronounce Worcestershire Sauce? The sauce is pronounced "Wuss. Terr. Sherr" I checked it on a website. Happy New Year! I love the way you speak French, it is good!
