Let's Learn English! Topic: Furniture! 🛏️🪑🛋️

Welcome to this English lesson about furniture! Furniture is all around us. You're probably sitting on a piece of furniture right now! In this English lesson I will review with you the names of the furniture that you will find in a house or apartment. I'll also go over some phrases we use when we talk about furniture.
In this English class you'll learn words and phrases like: recliner, footstool, love seat, couch, sofa, change table, lawn chair, entertainment centre, and more!
I hope you enjoy this English lesson about furniture!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Hey Bob, Actually as I’ve been a newcomer to Canada 🇨🇦 since a couple of months i do think the first communication obstacle I’ve been facing since I landed is how the Canadian native people speaking as fast as i can barely catch the meaning 😅… How do you think and recommend the mechanism by which as a second language learning people we could use to catch a native speaking! Thanks n Go on Bob

In my language there is no difference between a stool and a chair. I mean a stool is also a chair, but a chair is not always a stool.😊 It is a pity that in English everything is different and I have to remember both words (chair and stool).🤨😂🤣

43:15 I meant to say “keep your throat moist”. Sorry I gave you a hard time reading that, but you know sometimes your brain goes faster than your fingers when you type and you don’t realize that you’ve missed a few words. But yeah, don’t talk too much. You’ve just recovered from a sore throat and the dry air in winter is no joke. Thanks so much for making some time for us this week and last week as well. Stay healthy Mr. Bob 😊 P.S. Nice Pewdiepie reference btw!

We also use this term to refer to a nicer table in a room called a dining room. Dining rooms have sort of disappeared in Canada though. 🙂😎🌻
