Let's Learn English! Topic: Computers 💻 🖥️
It's time for another English lesson! This one will be about computers. I did English lessons in the past about technology, the office, and schools, but I haven't done a lesson specifically about computers.
In this English lesson I'll help you learn English words and phrases that you can use when talking about computers.
You'll learn words like hard drive, monitor, and touchscreen. Of course this will once again be much more than a vocabulary lesson. I'll make sure that during this English class I'll also teach some phrases that we use when talking about computers.
I hope you enjoy this English lesson about computers!
⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Good morning teacher Bob thanks
It’s a little late, but I’m watching it now. Thank you🙂
Thanks for the lesson Mr. Bob.
Bob thanks for the lesson! it is amazing as you are organized, making a lesson tomorrow to supply other day than you can't to do the video.
Wow! It's nice to know you teach something related to graphic design and programming at school. And you were a web developer. Amazing! As a designer (UX, UI and graphic) that are curious about programming, and knowing the basics of HTML and CSS, I believe the programming languages are very helpful on logic thinking and development of series of great skills. So helpful for children and teenagers. Thank you!
thank you teacher. from 2020 i am learning your u tube video. your lessen improve my english skill. you never know me but i want you know my greatful mind.
Thanks much for this lesson sir Bob
This lesson is really good for me since I’m not good at technology. Thanks teacher Bob!
Useful as always!!Thanks for this Topic Teacher!!!
Thanks Bob
Hi. I love your class.
Loud and clear
That's a quite an easy lesson because in italian, as well as in french or german, we use the english terms to speak about computers. Anyway, thanx for the lesson!
Thaks a lot, Mr.Bob
Hello Teacher Arely from Honduras. Thank you for your english lesson
Good day, teacher Bob! Programming language is like an English language. We need to update our vocabulary in English and Computer programming also need to update or upgrade base on generation. When i was student I had only know turbo pascal, cobol, turbo c and.c++, but now i don't have any idea about new programming language like phython, php, java and a lot more. I sad to say I stopped learning about programming language. Have a nice day!
Speaking of keyboards, the most iconic and remarkable one has to be QWERTY. QWERTY is the most popular keyboard layout, but there are many other keyboard layouts designed for other languages, including QWERTZ for German, Albanian, and other languages, AZERTY for French, ЙЦУКЕН for languages using the Cyrillic script, and other layouts. There are also optimized layouts for Latin-script languages including Dvorak, Colemak, Workman, and other optimized layouts. By the way Mr. Bob the Canadian, this video said that when Canadian people are 12 years old, they are supposed to type 30 words per minute, but I read the Wikipedia article about words per minute and I found that most jobs require employees to be able to type at least 50 words per minute, while I can frequently type over 100 words per minute when doing a Nitro Type session and I can do this in different layouts. How can I do this? I just downloaded keyboard layouts that are most similar to QWERTY, such as QWERTZ. I also learned to type in Russian and other languages.
Thank you so much and have a good day
thank you 💕
That was the awesome lesson! Such a shame that I missed it, because it was my speciality :( During the live stream I was doing my term paper on developing a RESTful API web service. But few hours ago I finally finished it and I had an ability to watch your stream in a record :) Thanks you Mr. Bob, I appreciate that you are familiar with all all these tech stuffs so good! As always you are at the top!
Few generations ago people did not really have the choice to work with computers, but now we have it!!
Hey ,love this session wouhou
Hello MR Bob ,nice to see you 😁😁
Thank you dear teacher! Hope your day goes well! Thunderstorm in march!🤯
Thanks for the lesson Mr. Bob. You do have a lot of knowledge about computers for someone your age (not implying you're old or anything 😉). But honestly that's impressive. I hope you'll be able to get enough rest and sleep during this weekend. Have a nice one!

I'm having a great day today! Very relaxing!
Thank you Bob for your hard work in any weather! Are students typing 30 words per minute in English? 😃 I think it's impossible. 😬 I just think that, probably, I like these lessons, not only because they are perfect, but also because we have a lot in common, such as we are from the same branch (IT) and when I was a student, I studied Maple 🍁. 😊 Today I will definitely turn off both the computer and the router in order to save electricity. 😊😊 See you tomorrow!
bravo
I'm happy and sad in once because you are making a live stream tomorrow but you plan to leaave it out next weekend. I would have more time the next weekend, especially because of the Easter holiday.

Hi dear teacher Bob what your favorite games on PC and what your PC specification?
Actually I just wanted to say:"That shirt looks great on you!" when I saw you at first glance and didn't see you have any bags under your eyes. I figured that it is a new shirt, isn't it ? Anyway, thanks for your efforts teaching us English and hope you have a good rest. Alough my husband works as a texting engineer but computer 🖥 is really not my thing. Even though I still strived to watch through this lesson and learned many words and concepts about computer. Appreciate it 🙏, Teacher Bob.
