I can’t believe I never appreciated the beauty of seattle until I moved away after I graduated from UW…I grew up and lived there for 23 years. It’s been two years since I moved, and I miss seattle every day:(

Hi! Thanks for sharing. The saying goes ... “We don’t truly appreciate what we have until it’s gone …" It happens to everyone at some point in life. But if you make a learning out of it, it will very well be worth it. Having said that, there's no doubt that Seattle is a fantastic city. Any chance to go back?
I love ❤️ Washington state!

I have been fortunate to live in Seattle for the past 17 years, by choice. It's a beautiful city. And like any other mid to large U.S. city it has problems. But I wonder why people take so much delight in pointing these out anonymously online or in the so-called news? Come to Seattle and see for yourself. The vast majority of our city is stunning and unique, not looking like every other city in the U.S.A.

Seattle is a beautiful city. And making tourism an important part of a city's income should help push the 'authorities' to solve certain problematics. Thanks for commenting. I agree with you 100%.

What’s the weather like in Seattle? Can you share your insights please?
@lifestyletravelnet
Жыл бұрын
@@maduzor1053 With an average of more than 150 rainy days per year, Seattle is known for its rainy weather. November would be the wettest month, with around 16 days of rain on avg. While July is the month with the least rain, with only 3 days on avg. However, although it rains a lot, Seattle is a beautiful city with many things to see and do. Museums like the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), the Seattle Art Museum, and the Museum of Flight are wonderful options and great for a rainy day. Anyway, ff you're going to Seattle, bring a raincoat and an umbrella with you.

@@JK-co4lz Why is that?
@JK-co4lz
Жыл бұрын
@@gennyvergara63 we currently have a revolving door policy for criminals since our jails are full - give them a court date and let them leave. People have already died in downtown because of this and as a result of having a county jail located there. Rampant use of fentanyl and homeless drug addicts. High cost of living and corruption in leadership. I could go on with the cons but the pros is beautiful nature. Come for the scenery but be wary of the people.

@@JK-co4lz Spokane isnt any better. I am a Spokomptonite and we are turning into Seattle. We have a placw called Camp Hope (Camp Dope by our locals) that is full of druggies/criminals and homeless. Our homeless, drugged, and mentally unstable people are out on the atreet due to the revolving policies placed by our government officials. Seattle is a beautiful city that i would love to move to, but after last years encounters on my anniversary, i would not move yet. Hopefully our state and cities see better days.

I'm born and raised in Seattle for 68 years. That's what it looked like 25 years ago. It was safe then. Now, show all tbe good people watching all the homeless junkies strewn all over the sidewalks now. The last time I went to Seattle was a couple of weeks ago for my 50th High School reunion. That's probably the last time I go there unless something changes for tbe better. I don't recognize my city anymore. God save Seattle. 🙏 ❤

You must not remember the Seattle from the 1990's. 1st Ave back in the 70's was a lot of fun. The city has its problems, but nothing like it did back then.
Won't show all the homeless people tho...

@lifestyletravelnet it breaks my heart I used to go to Seattle at age 15 and that was normal for kids. We would take the bus down. Now I won't even drive my kids to pikes place market or go out at night. The powers at be are allowing drugs to be free to use, bringing in gangs. There is shootings every single day in Seattle. Sad and it's just getting worse, I love Seattle but it's not my Seattle anymore. :(

Umm 🤔 let’s see why does every big beautiful city has a homeless problem? ??? Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego Seattle, New York umm 🤔 what can It be Oh that what it is the price of anything is way too expensive for a regular person. People Are homeless because every place wants a 750 credit score in 3 times the rent. One bedroom $2500 so that’s $7500 for one month 🤷🏼♂️ Gas, rent in food are all the same.
