Let's go to a horseshow!

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

This is both mine and Annie, my horse’s, first show back after 2 years! Annie was a broodmare last year, and before that had a brief show career, so this is only her 3rd time showing the trail! It was so fun getting to go to a show and just HAVE FUN after I showed for so many years on a really high level, which can bring so much stress if you’re not careful!
I look forward to more horseshow videos this summer, hope you enjoy!

    I wish they had “show offs”. A show where everyone got to show off their horse and hard work in the ring. I know ribbons and buckles are awesome but my fave is seeing everyone excited to show off their horses and luv up their furry friends.

    My trainer in college would do what we called "show and tell" rides when we had friends and family visit. Basically, we got to only do the stuff we excelled at, and ride our favorite horses. It always made my parents feel better about writing the checks, and I loved getting to skip things like no stirrup work

    I was thinking something similar. Just like how much hard work Katie has put in over these awesome years she has shared with us. This footage is gonna be hitting some of her peers in the feels. Like “hey! I was there when she was filming!” Or like “I remember this!” They are gonna be smitten and swooning just like us! If they are not already! ❤❤❤❤❤

    @arribaficationwineho32 No, they don't. Some people might and some people might incorrectly use some tools or methods but they do not abuse their horses to get the right head carriage. • @adinosinetriphosphate

    @adinosinetriphosphate

    Ай бұрын

    Why does them holding their heads low mean they're depressed? That's pure anthropomorphizing and it is harmful to animals. They are fine. Horses in western riding often home their head low because it looks more relaxed and is comfortable for them. Maybe educate yourself before anthropomorphizing animals and spewing stupid things.

  • @arribaficationwineho32

    @arribaficationwineho32

  • @adinosinetriphosphate

    @adinosinetriphosphate

    Ай бұрын

    @arribaficationwineho32 Not you replying to two of my comments because you think you're right when you aren't. Did the horses tell you they're depressed? Did they tell you they hate what they do? They wouldn't do it if they didn't want to. You would absolutely know if a horse didn't want you on their back or didn't want to work that day. You can't force an animal that large and heavy to do something it doesn't want to do. These people's relationships with their horses are built on love and mutual respect for each other, ESPECIALLY Katie. Once again, stop anthropomorphizing animals, stop following and listening to whatever bullshit PETA and animal rights organizations tell you, it just shows how uneducated you are 🤷‍♀️ Go touch grass.

    ..... omhy😴. Everything can be cruel as used in the wrong hands! Even the softest bittless bridels can cost a lot of damage and pain when people use them wrong😅And also with the whip the same rule.... you can beat the crap out of them or give them one good bob so they know yur not the one to get messed with😇.. But to decide for someone else? Thats RUDE! And second, did you ever go to a horse store and pick those spurs with the big wheels up? I dare you to feel them ride softly over the back of your hand the next time when you be there, and you will see that youre comment is a delulu one😵‍💫. Same with whips, the leader shall and will ALWAYS show their dominance towards the rest of the crew so that they will be the semisive followers. You cant be friends with an herd animal, otherwise god gave them the ability to speak😂. Herd animals need a leader and better be seen as that one! Our herd lives free range in the wildernes at the Beach and Dunes and in the wild.... So without a whip i will be the sqoochmello. Specialy when its breeding, foalin or weinig season! We drive the horses in a shute so that we can give them shots, look at them, preg check and take the stallion and the 1&2yo mares and the litle boys home. And also the oldest mares who dont get pregnant go with us to the farm, to get broke and go to auxion or they end in our freezer next to our hunting baby's 🍽🍴😅😂🍖🥩🥓. It depend on the case of having a good spirit animal with you.....

    @TammySaj-zm6kr You're not morally superior to anyone because you don't utilize the same training tools they do, and you aren't perfect because of it either. Not every horse or rider or horse and rider pair is the same. A halter and a lead rope could be harmful and abusive in the wrong hands. You also spelled your own horses breed incorrectly....
