    Those three cities will work really well having a production and warehousing district in the very middle of them, and all on higher ground so fingers crossed lol

    yeah to be honest I was getting a little overwhelmed, I think it was also me switching between games so often too that was messing me up a bit, I'm probably going to try uploaded just one game at a time until I figure out if I can do more or not..

    Oh fine, have the engagement stuff :p I have this game, but when the water suddenly flooded all 3 of my cities, I decided to put it down until the dev puts more dev time in the game. One thing I do wanna say is: When it comes to trees, they have to be planted on moist soil, which will only generate at about -20F, and rise until after 0F (I never made it stop rising.) and different trees have different upper and lower caps for where they'll grow. Won't be important for a while, but it is important. OH! And when it comes to things that your cities don't need, you should just build them en masse on the other side of the planet. It'll be a pain to transport goods once the water level rises.

    Yeah water seems to be pretty much everyone's problem, I'm hoping to mitigate it somehow I just don't know yet how that's going to happen yet. Thanks for the info on the trees! Hopefully I will time it right and get a lot more done before water this playthrough so its not as much as a deal and I have backups for everything available.

    @@zachsletsplays real talk. I don't have the patience for it but... Just circle all your critical stuff with dams. Worth noting: trains and trucks can't transport through dams. But storage drones can.

    @@ChathSuaco yeah I was kind of looking at circling a lot of things but I didn't know that about the drones so that is Very good to know! Thanks

    @@ChathSuaco I experimented with this. Sadly, it turned out to be a bad idea. You know how all the craters turn into lakes when it starts raining, because they're essentially giant pools? That's what happens if you fully encircle your city, too.

    Indeed, the water comes out when the temp rise (are we surprised ???) , around -20 average (thats not really accurate for physics but hey) is around when the water starts to appear at the ground lvl zoom, emphasis at ground lvl zoom - also the dev must be canadian with min -25 & max -3 during spring... Anyway, "floodable" map filter is on high priority for the dev, so is having a working dam.

    @@heemanmcspeed From what I've seen so far, once the water starts to appear it can "spawn" anywhere. Right now, I'm at -14.8 avg (top of the screen) but have water on tiles displaying -25 with (-33 min & -3 max).

    ish... your extractor to depot ratio is ... well I cant even find a not too terrible word for it. With lvl 1 depot, the lowest you should do is 1 depot to 4 ex. So your awful "front line" is the worst use of resources you could come with while you're playing the lets extract them before the water rise game.

  • @zachsletsplays

    @zachsletsplays

    Жыл бұрын

    You are correct, it is not very efficient however I plan on making so many extractors, and depots for it to not even matter. Is that smart...Probably not. but im going to do it anyways!

  • @davidc3447

    @davidc3447

    Жыл бұрын

    @@zachsletsplays It most probably wont matter in the long run indeed, but you can get your things done faster by going "vertical" instead of following the mineral front line (by getting more raw ore for more factories oiut of the same amount of depots and extractors and so on). Side note - I hope a seed for planet is planned.

  • @zachsletsplays

    @zachsletsplays

    @@davidc3447 That is a good point. I didn't think of going vertical to start out and that would have most definitely worked better. YES seeds for planets would be awesome!
