GOING ON HIATUS UNTIL THANKSGIVING: I've been cranking out videos almost every week this year, and I'm starting to feel the burnout. I have some big plans for the final videos of 2020 and I don't want burnout to hurt the quality of those videos. So, I'm taking a short break for next few weeks to recharge. But don't worry, I'll be back on Thanksgiving day to post a special video that celebrates the 10th anniversary of one of my favorite shows. So until then, stay whelmed.

I wouldn't say Gosalyn and Drake's relationship changed.. Sure, she's more independent and older but I still got father/daughter vibes from them. And if it does lead to a reboot maybe we could see Gosalyn as Darkwing's crime fighting partner. In the old show he was always so worried about bringing her along and protecting her. It would be nice to see Gosalyn helping out given how independent and headstrong she is.

You make a good point.

One easter egg you missed was the clothes Gosalyn wore in the Flashback and her photo are her original clothes.

You missed that the numbers on the cards Launchpad has have the numbers where the villains appeared for the first time.

@@BillyJamesVA indeed they do, the lullaby Gosalyn hums when she tucks Drake on the couch is the same one she sang on the old show. I didn't noticed until someone else pointed it out.

About you saying you see Drake aka Darkwing as older brother and younger sister like is not true. They can still be future father and daughter. Sure 2017 Gosayln is more independent but she can still have a father

I love this episode so much. The DW Villians were my favorite thing about it!^^

You missed the reference to Batman: The Animated Series, but it's one of those blink-and-you-miss-it things.

@@BillyJamesVA Well there is that, but there's a billboard in town that is the BTAS logo (but Darkwing-ized), too! I have it in shirt form...I'm a huge fan of both. :)

7:55 you think bonkers is the black sheep of the disney afternoon? What about Shnookums and Meat, the cartoon show that TRIED and FAILED miserably to rip off Ren and stimpy.

​@@BillyJamesVA One of the problems I found with Shnookums and Meat is that they are too afraid to do the insane gross out that Ren and Stimpy are known for, as a result the show ends up looking like a pale imitation. Speaking of Shnookums and Meat do you think anyone at disney would DARE revive any of the characters from that show? I only ask, because last time I checked S.a.M. seems to be considered one the worst disney tv cartoons of all time.

@@72Winabagel I want to say no...but if the Fluppy Dogs can make a brief cameo in Ducktales, there's a slim chance that Shnookums and Meat could make a brief cameo as background characters in Ducktales. That being said, it's a very slim chance. Shnookums and Meat is right up there with "Nightmare Ned" and "Motorcity" in terms of forgotten Disney cartoons.

I like bonkers, but only in the Piquel episodes. I also find that beaten up car there forced to drive amusing

Take a good look at the injuries Bulba sustains in this episode, then watch "Steerminator".

That episode was great. :D Yet, birth of Negaduck gave me way more chills. ;-)

I really hope for a Darkwing Reboot, they have Gos and LP saying Let's Get Dangerous with DW at the end of the Theme Song

Wonder if you could make a video about the characters themselves at so point, not a top 10 necessarily, but a character study on how the characters evoled from their original counterparts and in the show.

That sounds like a great idea, in fact I actually follow Seaniccus. However, right now, I can't even think about doing collabs until I have at least 1K subs, otherwise the other channels won't take me seriously. Sure, I get exposure from the collaboration, but what's in it for them? What do I have to offer them? At the moment: nothing. They simply wouldn’t get enough exposure from my channel. But, if I do hit 1K subs in the future, then I could consider approaching Seaniccus about a collab. I mean, he never DID make an official review about "The Legend of the Three Caballeros". It might be nice to share our perspectives of the series.

@@BillyJamesVA i'm sure about it. Everybody was a growing channel in one point. Maybe give something valuable to them. Colabe and a script check/ video edit/ some art for the channel. Be willing to be more than just a colab and I'm sure thay will be part of it. People in this part on the community see more audience participation as a big thing . Even more then numbers.

Introducing the concept that all Disney fiction (even as obscure as that reference to Fluppy Dogs!) Is accessible with a machine, kind of defeats the point of all the legwork the series has been doing. It shoots itself in the foot. Given that it's possible, why create Darkwing Duck and not just pull him from the old shows dimension? Why not just pull the Rescue Rangers out of their dimension? Talespin too. Because it's a cop-out. Now, whenever we see a nod to Ducktales comics or Disney afternoon shows, we can wonder if they are just from their own dimension. Now that we have these dimensions, what would be the point of ever showing a character emerging in the current Ducktales world? It can't be so that you can reimagine them, because Bushroot was totally reimagined when he was pulled from that dimension. It also forces your characters to be underdeveloped when they come through the dimension -yet they're reimagined. Because you can't assume their background and personality was just the same as it was in the old show. This shorthand method of giving the fans what they want quickly, has done more harm than good. I know fans were clamoring for these villains but the means is a little chaotic.
