Hey if you wanted to get the dent out of the old tank I may have a solution. I have used this in dirtbike header pipes because we have dropped them in some rocky crap and almost pinch the pipe to the point where it can breathe. When you do this fill the tank with water until its a little bit more above the dent then freeze it over night, make sure you leave the cap off so it doesn't put extra stress of the tank if for some reason pressure builds up. It may take a few times but just keep doing it until the dent is all the way out. Hope this helps thanks.

There are many ak variations around for about 200 bucks. Just got to be ok with Chinese mixed up parts bin specials. Still work though 😃

Man, It's weird hearing that story like it was decades ago, then at the end when you talk about getting it back and that cop pull over... Brings back memories from the time I've first found your channel. (Also, about that cop... wasn't it because you had your turn signals too close to each other on your CBR1000RR? Also isn't that cop the one that read out your name and ended up being in your intro?)

I could have sworn you started the gofundme yourself Dan. At least I remember donating $10 to it at the time because you promised to send a free sticker out to everyone who donated $5 or more. But oh well, never got the sticker but we got the magna instead! Worth it.

Nobody Noone You can drive a car, bus, truck, motorcycle, tractor. "Ride" would be necessary for bicycles, horses, donkeys and very large dogs. That being said, the term "cattle drive" is a good example of the word's usage aside from the riding/driving meaning. Pretty sure the magna isn’t a horse. Maybe the use of a metaphor like “hog” but it isn’t a Harley...

Always use a new crush washer on the oil drain plug. That will help to keep you from stripping the threads also.

How do I fix it? Wait ill message Jake with the tiny snake. He's a certified mechanic, hell know the solution.

You should lube the seal to the oil filter with oil too

I was changing the gear oil on my dirt bike and was using a mellow yellow bottle to catch to the oil, I somehow managed to drop my drain plug into the bottle. Talk about defying the laws of physics lol.

i'm a BMX rider, and just looking at this bike, i have no idea why, but I'd love to build a bike like this with BMX bars and put custom gauges on the inside of the bars. if anyone knows what they look like, they'd get an idea of what it'd look like. i just love the looks of BMX bars. I got the idea because of a pro rider throwing a set of BMX bars on his little 100CC honda dirtbike after he put it on the ground and snapped the original bars.

I always think when I see spliced wires with only electrical tape and no connector "what a fuckin idiot!" LMAO

Dude, unless you had the new tank painted, the yellow new tank would go well with the color scheme on that GXS-R tail fairing.

I also fill my filters with oil, and lube the thread. Just makes it easier.

Aye yo Dan, thinking about getting my upper triple clamp powder coated as well. Did you have to remove the spacers that guide the bolts for the handlebar risers? They have rubber seals up top, just not sure if that would hold up in the oven during the baking process for powdercoating.
