that''s not true regarding YG, in Korea despite all the negative vibes that YG get no one ever dispute the talent of artist from YG- that is the one thing that is always guaranteed. No one debuts from YG if they're not good enough. It is also one reason why their released trainees are picked up by other agency to debut so much. The industry is literally full of ex-YG trainee, even in big major groups

You’re right. BM has set the standard way too high for future female YG groups. The 3 girls that never made it into blackpink are now in other girl groups as well. If you’re a YG trainee and make it to a certain level, you’re almost guaranteed a spot in another agency group.

YG is really known for LIVE performances. Most MAMA iconic performances are YG artists

Despite the negativity people have towards YG CEO, their talent is known to be top tier. YG has one of the best trainee programs and is known to be very selective, many trainees have to survive monthly evaluations for around 5-6 years before debut comes around (same for many from even BP, Treasure and BAEMON). Throughout the industry, big agencies or small, there are many ex-YG trainees from even popular groups (Kiss of Life, Boynextdoor, ILLIT, GIDLE, CIX, P1Harmony etc).

You should also check out UNIS. They might not be as great compared to others, but for a newly-debuted girl group, they can for sure sing live. They are also stable.

Every since before, YG Groups are well known for their skilled talent and amazing live performances. Their artists stage presence is top tier. As an old YG stan, YG are very selective when it comes to debuting trainees. His standards when it comes to singing o performing live is very high. Watch every YG artists performance and their Live performances or stage presence are insane. They call it "No YG, No Party!" for a reason. YG has one of the best training programs. Their trainees are top tier and well known because of how they were molded into a skilled trainee.

YG groups do not follow the trend THEY ARE THE TREND...

Even if i'm not a huge fan of the yg 'sound' anymore, you can't deny they are outstanding performers, like I think every one of their groups are so stable live and the energy they bring to performances is what makes their concerts so good

I've watched the MADE documentary/movie, and one thing that I really respected about BIGBANG is they do their best to give the best live performance or concert to fans. The members said and are aware that the ticket price is no joke that fans save up for it, and many goers come from abroad. With their status in the industry, I was surprised they retained this type of mindset which every idol/artist should. I did feel bad when GD was passing out backstage towards the end of the concert and still went out to do his verse, but none of his member was aware. That's passion and professionalism.

Yeah, I've always said the yg party ending is designed for arena tours, that's it's main function. And I agree seeing this performance made me excited for the concerts, both to see the girls in a more relaxed, fun setting, and to see the ways they rework the songs with The Band.

When YG artist perform LIVE, it's END GAME.

YG never debuted idols with trainee level ability. Even Jihoon of Treasure got kicked out because YG think he already reached his full capabilities but it was not enough. Good thing he got a second chance. Look at his vocals now. If they are so focused on commercialization, they can just follow the trend and make more money. I have more respect because they chose to maintain that YG color because that is their signature. IMO, YG makes song based on their artists vocal abilities. Thats why YGA never had a problem performing live. YG never held back their artist if they want to get out of YG. And i am sure BM got offers from other company. They chose to be in YG, to have that YG aura. And we can't deny that Babymonster are now on top with their talent. They are slaying...

YG is still the GOAT in KPOP.. maybe in terms of popularity but with TALENTS. Their training session is more talent driven. Watch all their survival show and you can see how they build their trainee to be an ARTIST than IDOL! That's why even the old YG artist left the company they can still SLAY their stages

YG is one of the pillars that brought kpop to the world. They're known for their live performances. They're music is basically orchestrated to be performed live that's why their known for having laid back choreographies and festive outros. Your knowledge with YG probably came from the new things on the internet but everything YG did were glorified during the golden era of kpop (2nd gen). They might not be at their best right now due to company issues few year back but they still have the greatest training system which you can see in babymonsters compared to the newer groups that can barely sing live.

As I said in your other video, yo should do a Deep dive into YG starting with BIGBANG. A lot of ideas that you have about YG are not true and also you must know that BLACKPINK is really different compared to other YG groups. Knowing BP is not knowing YG. I have been a yg stan since 2010 and saying that knowing bp is not knowing yg is CRAZY now i see your point but i just think that yg didn't really expect Blackpink to become so big that they won't be able to control their global image in the eyes of people who are not K-pop stans so they tried to change the style a little but keeping their mark. The chorus, the pre chorus, breakdancing, the Lyricism even the swag and Airport fashion Everything screams yg To the point that new K-Pop stans began to attribute this style to Blackpink themselves and not to YG. But i do agree with you that they need a big dive into yg artistes including big mama (I think I wrote a lot lol, but I do not disagree with you except on the point that Blackpink does not represent YG at all)

Im an og yg stan and it’s true, knowing blackpink isn’t knowing yg at all. Bp’s live performances are actually not that good. If u see Bigbang’s lives, your lives and how you view kpop will change

YG groups are known for their live performances and their outstanding talents. Most of idols from kpop industry being ex-YG trainees speak a lot lol😂 one thing about yg is that they will train idols for years and if they don't have unique talents among other trainees, they will most likely kick out of the company. If you look closely every idol under yg has their unique colors. You will never catch yg has twin-like idols who have the same voice NEVER 😂

Thank you for pointing out the main purpose of this title release - to appeal heavily to live stages. Some reactors wine about the 'lack of vocals' in the chorus but that's not the main purpose of this track. It's meant to appeal to the live senses more with the beat, the chants and the hard hitting dance moves! So tired of some reactors who roll their eyes on the chorus cause it doesn't appeal to them. Sorry but this song has a purpose and it will bang on a Coachella stage!

Yeah, those teeny boppy songs nowadays - i.e magnetic, are only good on spotify and streaming but not hyping with a live band unlike YG songs…YG songs always have different live band arrangements too which are sooo good and sometimes better than the studio version….however to each it’s own preference..others may not like live band version

They sounds so good live. Dance versions are great, but standing performance with a rock band is maybe better, NO WHERE TO HIDE. They all did amazing. I love this version, they always sound perfect. This is what you can expect on tour.

The fact with YG is, lots of aspiring idols want to get into the company because they pay the best in the industry. and has the best benefits if you think about it. Don't come with me with the few album releases, I'm a VIP and Bigbang had only 3 full albums in their entire career. Thousands will flock to their auditions and they only get 1 or 2 trainees from ten thousands. And even if you've been accepted, there's only a 0-10% guarantee you'll debut because they had the most brutal training system out of all kpop companies. Then, you have to go through at least 2 years to 7 years of training. They will never debut someone who is not ready skill-wise, personality-wise, and even mental fortitude-wise. That's why their artists, even individually, are all TOP-TIER.

YG's cafeteria is serving a cd that's why their voice is like that hahahaha
