I enjoyed this video very much. I have been hooked on NASCAR since I was in the military and stationed in Virginia in 1965. I was from the west coast and I had only watched midgets, sprinters and modifieds up until that time. Your history of behind the scenes of NASCAR is one of few channels like this. It was sad seeing that John Wes Townley truck sitting there rotting away. I liked those Zaxby's paint schemes. Such a shame that John went downhill and tried to kill his ex wife. I am glad he didn't succeed but I am sad he had to die in order for her to live. Thank you for showing this NASCAR chassis graveyard to us!

I'm from outside of Toronto. When I went to Mooresville to pick up my racecar I found the whole area fascinating gear heads dream although I only had a day and a half to hang out. Scrap yards, smaller team shops, resellers like yourselves, Lake Norman bring it!

Man... there are a few spots with some chunky welds on those roll cages. I always assumed because of safety those things got some top notch welding done on them.

I wish I could buy one of those,we race dirt track super late models and street stock's and bomber's and we are having a hard time finding cages,I seen a couple we could cut and alter that would work great over Kill for our racing but we would be safe for sure

Bodies get cut up an sold for souvenirs, Racing Warehouse is a good place to start otherwise most teams will also sell old pieces.

It was sad seeing that John Wes Townley truck sitting there rotting away. I liked those Zaxby's paint schemes. Such a shame that John went downhill and tried to kill his ex wife. I am glad he didn't succeed but I am sad he had to die in order for her to live. Thank you for showing this NASCAR chassis graveyard to us!

I'm from outside of Toronto. When I went to Mooresville to pick up my racecar I found the whole area fascinating gear heads dream although I only had a day and a half to hang out. Scrap yards, smaller team shops, resellers like yourselves, Lake Norman bring it!

Man... there are a few spots with some chunky welds on those roll cages. I always assumed because of safety those things got some top notch welding done on them.

I wish I could buy one of those,we race dirt track super late models and street stock's and bomber's and we are having a hard time finding cages,I seen a couple we could cut and alter that would work great over Kill for our racing but we would be safe for sure

Bodies get cut up an sold for souvenirs, Racing Warehouse is a good place to start otherwise most teams will also sell old pieces.
2:31 apparently that car almost won at Dega in 2013 with Kasey Kahne. 2013 Aaron's 312.

Would have taken a few of those bumpers, they would loom cool if given a quick wash and could sell online for a pretty penny or look nice hung up

They could, but it wouldn't be very cost effective.
Everytime I see those chassis all I see is dollars going out the door. It's amazing how much money they waste It's no wonder why so many guys fail to make it in racing.
