Let's Cruise Alaska: Radiance of the Seas - Part 1
Embarkation Day Drama & A Day at Sea | Alaska Cruise on Radiance of the Seas - Part 1
Welcome aboard our exciting 7-day journey in Alaska on Royal Caribbean's Radiance of the Seas! Join us, Sean and Kat, as we embark from Vancouver and tackle the unexpected right from the start.
✅ What Happened?
• Morning Mayhem: Our adventure began with a bit of a hiccup at River Rock Casino when our safe, containing our passports, jammed just 30 minutes before our scheduled departure for the cruise.
• Early Arrival: We arrived at the cruise terminal ahead of time, only to be sent off to waste time with a coffee break before we could board.
• Onboard Dining: Once aboard, we enjoyed our first meals at Chops Grille for lunch and Giovanni's Table for dinner, setting the tone for culinary delights.
• Lost Luggage: While settling in, we faced another challenge as the ship misplaced our luggage while we were setting sail.
🌊 Day 2 at Sea:
• Galley Tour: We started our sea day with the 'Sip, Tour and Brunch,' an insightful galley tour paired with a delightful brunch.
• Dinner at Samba Grill: Our evening featured a taste of Brazil at Samba Grill, the ship’s Brazilian steakhouse.
• Showtime: We capped off the night with 'Piano Man.' Stay tuned for our honest review of the show.

Have a great time!!! Alaska is amazing.
I never go see the song and dance shows… boring. The exception is when I was on NCL and they did a cirque style song and dance and it was a great show.

I agree. Anything Cirque I will go to for sure.
Does Radiance still have those stupid shower curtains?

Our cabin had the curtains and I don’t like them either. Sorry for the bad news.
You are funny but I’m less excited about our cruise after watching these…..

The first time we went on a cruise to Alaska it was gorgeous every day. I think we just got a little unlucky and had bad weather most of the time. The last two days, which are coming up soon in videos, were much nicer. The last day at Hubbard glacier was gorgeous. Cruising Alaska is amazing but you do have to assume that you’re going to be facing all four seasons in probably a five hour period. :-)
Kat does not look like she enjoys any part of being on video. 🤷♀️

Hahaha. Yes this is true. I’m not very photogenic and I know it. I try to hide! I’m trying to put that aside and go with the flow more however.
Don't play so much music during your videos.
