Gotta hand it to you Gabor. You sure know how to dial in some killer tones on these modelers. These companies should pay YOU to make presets for them.

I got a used Valeton GP100 last year, it’s little brother, picked it up for £50 in UK, I’ve been really impressed with the tones, functionality is really easy to edit parameters and navigate through the units edit pages is simple, being able to hook up to computer and use the app is a excellent feature and works great and is same layout as the GP200 and LT App editor. The build quality is excellent and very solid. I got a bargain for £50 with so many excellent sounding effects easily editable, you can’t go wrong with any of their models. I’ve been weighing up the GP200 and LT over the last year and if I had the spare cash and could warrant it I would have definitely bought either models and will in future definitely get one. For the low price in comparison to many competitors multi effects pedals at double the price and more it does everything and has all the effects all other units do, so don’t see the point spending hundreds more on other brands that do exactly the same and doesn’t make you a better guitar player. I’m not arsed about image and I need to buy a Helix etc, the old guitar snobbery no longer exists in my world I’m pleased to say, so if something does s great job at a fraction of the price then that’ll do me.

Really impressed can basically set up any sound that you want like or need. so impressive

Got its bigger brother version, does everything, nice cleans to Cannibal Corpses. had it a bit now, reliability seems good too

Really enjoyed this video great insight into the Valeton gp200lt like to see if the amps used sound anything like the real thing!🙂

you should make some of them patches available

I’ve had this pedal for about 3 months or so now. I love the idea of all the amps/cabs, but always feel like I pick the same ones because they’re my sound. Did you guys enjoy the stock cabs or your own more? I’ve got to get a handle on assigning switches, as I think this opens the unit up. I don’t feel it sounds that great through the fx return of my amp, but chances are I’m doing something wrong or it’s because the speaker defines that much of the sound. Thanks for the patch creation tutorial.

Hey guys great review and fantastic sounds. My only (constructive) criticism is the guitars you use...I have no idea what a "normal" guitar would sound like with this pedal. Keep in mind this is aimed at the lower end of the scale as far as multi effect units go - so maybe a Classic Vibe Squier and a Epiphone Les Paul /SG might be more suitable for a demo so most of us can relate?

Great video chaps. Daft question. When assigning pedals to the four switches in stomp. Is green on and red off?

The manual & software are very nice & informative. I'm interested in running a sampler into it. Looking forward to creating patches for drums, synths, basses, & vocals. My MPC1 has plenty of preset patches for tons of different instruments. Do you know of any multi fx pedals that have presets for all types of instruments preloaded? Could you demo how you would use this pedal for other instruments?

A quick question- Can we keep 2 or 3 distortion pedals in the same patch to use it like a stacked distortion model in a pedal board where you could increase the gain of the distortion through footswitch just like having 2 or 3 separate distortion pedals in a pedal board? I am thinking about getting the larger version of Valeton GP 200 where I would have multiple footswitch and I kind of like to have at least 2 distortion pedals with different gain levels.

I just got this it’s not bad to be honest.

How do the sonic characteristics of this pedals guitar amplifiers compare with the TONE-X . Are they dumbed down to meet a price point or is the unit simply less money as it has far less features. On a video the unit is gigable but the TONE-X is said to be equal to all comers guitar amplifiers fidelity on a track when recording.

I have a Tube (Blackstar HT5R) amp with a FX Loop, what's the best way to hook it up? FX loop or front?

Depends on how you want to use it! If you want to use the drive of your amp and this mostly for delays, reverbs and modulation then put it into the loop…if you use your amp pretty much only clean and use this as effects and overdrives/distortion/fuzz then put it in front of the amp! I’m pretty sure there is a 4 cable method hookup option for this as well where you can put it in front of the amp for ODs/fuzz etc and the time based effects go through the fx loop on the amp

Both with the 4 cable method. I have the Blackstar JJN20 (like a HT20r) which is pretty similar. With the 4 cable method you can use your pre-amp and power amp, turn off the GP's amp and cabs and set the GP's FX Loop on and mode = Series. You can also only use your power amp and use the GP's Amps (pre-amp) by turning off the GP's FX loop and setting the mode to Parallel. Always turning off the CAB's. Really pleased with how good it sounds.

Every one of these KZreadrs are just exactly the same you never show us what we want to know. You give us a lot of information useless information that you give out the information. All I want to know is. Not using a computer how do you get into a patch on a voucher gp150 and just adjust some of the tunnels to your liking and save it and leave it the hell. Just some easy simple shifts and some of us don't know how to do we all don't own multi-million-dollar Studios know how to run all this s***

I’m guessing by “voucher” GP150 you mean Valeton GP150…sorry but they only sent us this one - never tried the 150! We did a LOT of editing on the actual pedal in this video…without the laptop and our multi-thousand-dollar studio (definitely no millions here)! I don’t remember exactly but we also did another video with this…there may be more editing on the pedal in that one
