Very useful comparison.they are so similar.simmer elite is handtied cap,has less density and is shorter at the back and longer at the front.they are both beautiful but in my opinion the winner is simmer elite.have a great day.big hugs,phay.

Fantastic video! I've wanted a Simmer for ages but already had Unfiltered and since they had some similarities I had held back. But seeing Wavy Day side by side with Simmer, while there is slightly more volume and length on Wavy Day, it wasn't as obvious as I expected. I do think that either are a light enough density for summer, however given the choice ID probably opt for Simmer in the warm months and Wavy Day for cooler. I am very drawn to the beach wave look though! LOL, seems have lots of beachy wave, as well as any other kinda curl I can get my paws on! If it doesn't have enough, the spray bottle and s crunching commence, LOL!! Thanks so much Taz! Blessings always!

Good morning Taz, Thank you so much for another very informative review. You look beautiful in both styles, Though I prefer you in SIMMER, because of the color, which lights up your lovely face, making you look beautifully radiant! ( You should definitely get WAVY DAY in SHADED BISCUIT. LOL, not that you asked my humble opinion, but the style does look really beautiful on you as well.) I decided to purchase another SIMMER in the handtied version, in SHADED BISCUIT, as I have her in BISCUIT, making those 2 sister styles. BUT, I will give WAVY DAY a try in the later summer, as though my "hair" grew out! I do love the fact that this new style is a tad more layered and a bit longer, so it's truly believable! PLEASE do tell, what face makeup/ foundation, concealer, and bronzer do you use? It seems to blend in very well with all your different shades of blonde. I also wanted to know what color/ brand is your taupey eyeshadow for this very same reason? Have a great day, Thanks again, Lauren

Hello Lauren! The foundation I am using I just started.. which is the Bare Minerals in Light 22 -- Neutral. The bronzer is Benefit Hoola Toasted. Thank you! I wear different eye shadow each time, so I am not sure on that. XOXO

I think it will hold up just as well as a heat friendly piece that is similar length:-) I would wear it up as often as possible to avoid excess friction XOXO

They’re both beautiful wigs! It seems that both styles have had a lot of colors out of stock for a while. Any idea when they’ll be back in stock? How do these compare to Belle Tress Caliente and other wavy lobs on the market? It seems like there are so many, it makes choosing one tough. :-)

Simmer Elite is currently sold out by the manufacturer in shaded cappoccino. Tried to order on Wig Studio and was told Ship date is September 5th!

The manufacturers are suffering from supply issues for sure! All retailers share in the same pool of inventory, so unless a retailer stockpiled a style/color, they will also be on backorder, unfortunately. XOXO

Have you washed the wavy day since you got her? I remember you addressed the silicone smell and styling issues due to the amount of silicone 🌷

The simmer looks more like iced cream, I saw the color ring and in the video, the biscuit shaded looks more buttery blonde, on the ring it looks ashy, the iced cream looks like what you are wearing , but I order unfiltered in the iced cream and it was more grayish white. Which would you recommend. I have natural bio hair that is buttery blonde with a touch of white. LOVE these wigs…….

Colors can be variable from piece to piece.. I would recommend shaded biscuit because it has more buttery notes.. but sometimes it appears darker than others so it loses the brightness XOXO

I was planning on buying the Raquel Welch top billing topper today but then I saw people talking about the cons of toppers, giving headaches and the clips that can hurt. I'm afraid wigs will feel too much and like wearing a hat all the time? I know I will only like low density. Can anyone give me advice please? 🙏

do you think wavy in shades biscuit would turn out same color as you are showing in simmer ? Just confused in to whys you didn’t show wavy in shades biscuit side by side ? I would love a video where all the terminology you used around 1:50 to 2:00 or so was explained to the person new to wigs. Everyone talks like this is all understood but I have no clue.

Hhmm....here's my question: I know lighting for KZread videos can totally change the colors we see. So for these wigs, with you knowing them so well, when you look at your videos, how do the video colors of the wigs compare to what you know/see in the "real-life" wig color?

Yes, lighting is definitely a variable. In my case, the studio lighting will "lighten and brighten" the blondes and darken the look of the rooting. This video had some very harsh sunlight coming through window.. I have since moved my studio and there is no natural light, so this may help consistency. ALSO, in most videos I provide a look at the color in outdoor lighting so you can have a couple lighting options to compare. XOXO
