The first Bologna Centrale station was constructed in 1859, though its history is unclear. A new station was built twelve years later on the same grounds. The modern station was designed and built by architect Gaetano Ratti, who trained in the local Clementine Academy.
Launched in 1995 with two suburban lines attested in the Bologna Centrale Railway Station, with the agreement of the program of 2007 is expected activation of more straight lines with a regular timetable for 2012, but due to delays in the full activation Bologna Central station AV completion buoyancy base is postponed to 2015.[3] in June 2013 have been completed on 90% of the infrastructure works and are active 70% of the services provided positioned in the base.
As of today, the constructions were finished and all the high speed trains are in service.

I’m going to take the train from Bologna to Ravenna in late August, how difficult is it to get tickets and how long of a train ride is it?

Hi it’s easy, you can the ticket tru online or just right there at bologna central station. The distance is 69 km, it depends on the train you will take but normally an hour n a half or two.
Is the Marconi express reliable? I will be in Bologna on May 12 and my flight leaves at 7:45 am. Would you recommended me to go to the airport by taxi or the Marconi express?

Do I need a lot of time between transfer? Traveling fr Rome to Bologna and transfer for ravenna

I don’t think so because from Rome you only need 3 hrs to bologna. To Ravenna it’s only 30 mins fr Bologna.

Galing kami last July at nagdrive kami nagstay kami sa Bologna overnight sa Villa savioli room and Breakfast.Gusto namin balik next magtrain at daan uli Bologna magkano at taxi papunta sa hotel namin thank you
