I am sometimes awake at night for an hour or two and finding the junk journal videos made by you and others were a blessing 😊. I used to scrapbook but am finished with that now and making journals and collage cards are other ways for me to paper craft and I love it. Have finished a couple of projects and am looking forward to many more. Hope to donate them to a fundraiser in the future or give as gifts. I don't really want to keep them, I just enjoy making them 😁😅🥰

My goals in the new year would be becoming a better artist as in my pencil drawings and general design as I have been pleased this year that I have grown in my creativity and in myself too, my own mental health had been very up and down this yest due to losing a family member so I'm hoping next the year be in a better place, more smoothly. It's always nice to hear your voice, and I love your crafting style. I look forward to seeing your ideas and creations! This year certainly did fly by, and I never even came close to meeting my crafting goals, or any other life improving changes that I'd planned on! But I will just keep trying- maybe next year will be more productive. (I noticed both S.A. Chakraborty's books and Sabaa Tahir's on your shelf, and had to smile. I absolutely LOVED The Daevabad Trilogy, and An Ember in the Ashes series, think they are extraordinary authors!! ) 🎄

You’re such a sweet and beautiful person. I love your videos and honesty. We all have our own struggles and I admire you for being real. I truly look forward to every video of yours. Congratulations on quitting the corporate world. I did the same in 2020, actually before C even hit! If I were younger I would have opened my own craft business too. I think people crave the creative process, even if they don’t realize it or think they even have a creative bone. I think everyone does really. Anyway, thank you for your videos and sharing yourself. They help me a lot in several ways. ❤

Hi Martina! I really appreciate your discussion about how your mental health affects the cycle of your yearly goals. I recently have been experiencing a lot of anxiety due to stress at work and starting to work on my Masters program. I don’t have as much time to craft myself and miss it so much! This coming year, one of my goals is to learn to manage my work life balance better and learning to unplug from media more. I have learned in class that social media, TV, and electronics triggers dopamine in the brain which causes classic addiction symptoms and can contribute to anxiety and mental health issues. I will be cutting back on the craft videos I watch but yours will be on my short list of keepers because of your authentic nature which I can relate to so much.
