As a mother of a two year old as well, I love this ohase, I love to hear my son share new ideas, be a witness to a brain making new connections and just experience his brain expanding almost daily! And they are hilarioua! I love it! Like others shared, i loved the parenting/family share!

I do fully agree and like you brought it up! I have 1,5 yr old now and I also do not miss those early months. There was that cuteness however bigger part was rather struggle. Communication now it is something we both truly enjoy and now is that time we may one day miss. My pov 😊

I just wanted to comment that as a first time mom of a 4.5 month old, I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts about how it gets better and to ignore all the people who say to "appreciate every moment," "soak in those baby cuddles," etc. I love my son and I love watching him change and grow, but beastfeeding, sleep deprivation, and the constant hamster wheel of eat-play-sleep every few hours is very tiring and at times can be isolating and monotonous. I love toddlers and I have been so looking forward to when I can communicate with him better and have a lower physical toll on my body, but when I hear people saying things like that about how I'll miss the baby stage, it gets in my head and makes me feel ungrateful and makes me nervous about what is to come. That's all to say, thank you for being a pro-toddler voice! It makes me feel that I'm not naive to think it will get better

The Guinness cake!!! This has been my husband's bday cake for the past 10 years! It's his bday Monday so I'm making it this weekend. How funny! Highly recommend 🎂👌

Totally agree with everytbing you said about parenting. My daughter is almost 2, shes my little best mate, she makes me laugh all the time. Newborn days were HARD man 😅

I always said “I want a child, not a baby.” I got so much flak for it, but I love my son getting older and older. Of course things are more complex with each year, but the newborn phase was very hard mentally and emotionally for me.

I loved the toddler stage with my boys, you literally are watching them developing their little personalities and their likes & dislikes. Because it's such a cliche but before you know it they are 26 & 22!!

You really remind me of the Spanish singer Amaia (who I just love) in this video. :)

I have a two year old also and I’m still waiting for this tantrum phase everyone keeps reminding me of 🧐 just can’t believe how much they can communicate at this age. I find that if he can’t communicate with what he is trying to express he will then get upset but it just takes couple of toddler chats and bobs your uncle 😅 my favourite word of Rowens is ‘plaster’ for ‘pasta’ 😂 and I do not correct him because it sounds too cute

Apropos MAC eye shadows: did. you know that Patina has been discontinued?? I’m desperate; I have been using it regularly since maybe 2015, and now just running out. Boohoohoo! I got blue eyes and I find it hard to find eyeshadows that look good with them. Much harder than brown eyes I gather. :(

I blind bought the RMS one and boy I hate it sooo much. It is horrible. It's thick, it accentuates everything you don't want accentuated. It is a huge regret buy

I couldn’t agree more about enjoying the non baby time. With the self tanner, do you apply at night and do you do something else on your face. I’m sure this is somewhere else…apologies.

I apply it in the morning or evening really - whenever I have the time. I find that it sinks in quickly and doesn't smell so I can wear it all day if I need to. Just throw it on like lotion and then I use the Beauty Pie Awesome Bronze drops on my face x
