As a plus size gal, I totally get that size inclusivity is hard to do when it comes to bundles. Thrift stores don’t really carry much inventory that’s above an 2XL and if they do it’s usually outdated styles or patterns. I already find it hard to find cute clothes in places like torrid, which is a plus size brand, it’s no surprise at a thrift store it’s going to be a little harder to come by plus size clothes. Also yikes at that message. A simple “would you ever open your bundles to bigger sizes?” would have been sufficient if they where that curious.

Yeah . . . Unfortunately the fashion industry as a whole is not good about making plus size clothing, which is not the fault of Danielle as an individual. Plus, the lack of size inclusivity is something that a LOT of plus size thrifting youtubers (like Carrie Dayton, Karina Gomez) have talked about when it comes to thrift shopping in general, so it's a bit bold to assume that again, this is Danielle's fault as an individual who is only able to purchase whatever is available

I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with the hate. Size inclusivity is a totally valid thing to ask for, but I wish she had done it in a kinder way. And I personally appreciated the honesty on the bundle video. When you’re reviewing a product that you paid for and influencing others to buy that product... well I guess that would just be misleading to lie about the quality. Stay true to yourself and your values, you’re doing a great job!

Yeah exactly and to be fair I feel in terms of size inclusivity she's doing the best she can. Obviously there will be more clothes in smaller sizes especially since some of the clothes are purchased from sample sales where clothes are sold only in sample sizes. Samples are samples and obviously companies will use the smallest amount of material possible to create those samples. Most people don't fit into sample sizes but that doesn't mean she shouldn't buy them and sell them on to people who do. I think for someone who buys most of these clothes secondhand only having sizes going up to an XL really isn't that bad? But I'm in Europe so perhaps I just have different standards lol

Being plus size myself, I totally understand the challenge of finding enough pieces to do plus size bundles. I think the style/era you gravitate towards really makes it hard to find pieces that would fit plus size. Growing up in the late 90s/early 2000s, “mall brands” really did not cater to sizes bigger than 12/14/16, so they’re hard to find in the wild aka at the thrift! Personally I wouldn’t order a bundle myself because I’m picky with fit. But I loooove watching you put bundles together - it’s fun to see your process!

For someone who’s plus size, we all are aware that it’s difficult to find cute and trendy clothing in secondhand stores let alone for cheap. To complain like a child is just immature and unnecessary. If someone doesn’t have the size you need, you go to a different store. You don’t insult the seller into buying things for you. This easily could’ve gone Her: hey do you plan on becoming more size inclusive? Then you give your response to which she would say: Her: ok, is there any sellers you know that have plus sizes? And then you can direct them to someone like you did! It gets to the crux of the issue without being rude! Honestly people feel so entitled when they’re behind a screen sometimes

Preach Sis! People need to be open for constructive feedback to only help us all grow. If someone is upset because of your feedback on their bundles they need to look at what can be done better. I am also a reseller and I don’t have a lot of larger sizes, but definitely look out for it. That’s all you can do. You are doing great! 😘

If I’m being honest XS-XL sizing available for bundles is really good especially in comparison with other Depop shops, it’s also difficult to find trendy pieces that would make sense to buy in thrift shops, it’s just unfortunate that people come after you like that :((

About the comment on size inclusivity. I totally understand them wanting plus size bundles but it came off uncomfy. Some people get weird on the internet, im sorry you had to deal with hate comments.

honestly, im a mid to plus size body therefore i KNOW first hand how difficult it is to find size inclusive clothes that are not absolutely hideous at the thrift stores. its not easy and i appreciate when people don’t necessarily buy it all to resell because it sucks for us who can’t afford resale prices and want or need to thrift for stuff.

I absolutely adore all the bundles I’ve seen you pull. And although the y2k style isn’t necessarily for me I feel like your bundles are spot on when you consider the customers’ likes on Depop. I’ve definitely been more into the ‘mall goth’ vibe lately and if you ever decide to make bundles like that I’d be more than happy to indulge 🖤 Also my sister is a size 26-28w and she doesn’t have much so I always try to thrift cute clothing for her which is SO hard to come across in Arizona. Plus size clothing is just very difficult to find second hand.

I just wanted to tell you, that I have not seen a KZreadr being so passionate about their content, and all the hate comments you get must be from people who don't watch you on a daily basis. You are everything but a mean person, who would give mean reviews just to make yourself look better. I've seen so many of your videos (I'm always putting them on when eating my dinner) and you would always recommend other sellers' shops and be just honest and as nice as possible about them. The bundle video with the 'negative' review was still very positive for the price and stuff you got. As I've said you are always as nice and pure as possible and I can't understand any hate coming your way. Please remember that there will be always people hating and disliking stuff about anything others do, don't let any mean comments get to you.

I know you said you want to color coordinate but you do it by type of clothing because it's easiest. One thing I do in my closet is I organize based on clothing type, then I go back in and organize by color. So, if I have a section of t-shirts I start left to right and go by the rainbow then black grey white. Then it's color coordinated and clothing type organized! Just a tip! Love your videos and your positivity!!

Just reading through all these comments is giving me flashbacks of the Y2K era and what we were wearing then. I remember my friends trying to style me and I got so frustrated with them because they were overbearing. I asked why they cared so much, and the answer was because I was thin. I had their ideal body type and they all thought I should show off. I was modest at the time and didn't want the attention. Now that I am middle aged and have slowly gained 80 lbs, I am actually more comfortable showing off my body because I don't get catcalled anymore.

Yes, there's a huge demand for plus sizes, but you did the right thing by referring the customer to someone who can help them better. There is a shortage in plus size clothing, especially when we want something stylish and eco friendly. That's not your fault. When I go thrifting, I notice there is a whole rack with hundreds of shirts in a size medium, but maybe 1x or 2x shirts. The XL and all of the plus sizes share a rack while small, medium, and large each have their own. I have come to the conclusion that I have to make my own clothes if I want stylish stuff that fits and isn't fast fashion. If there are plus size sellers out there who have decent inventory and good service, by all means, support those folks. I think it's the designers and the manufacturers that are dropping the ball on us, not the resellers. I saw the box you sent to Karina and you did good. I know not everything worked, but I am the same size she is and I couldn't have done any better than what you sent her.

Tbh, just found your channel last year during quarantine and your positive attitude and love of fashion really helped me get through my layoff. I hope the negative attention doesn't get you down too much. Stay strong! 💓💗

Hi Danielle ☺ I can only speak for myself when I say I'm a midsized body so.. 28" doesn't accommodate someone more curvy like myself, but I would love to see more large or extra large mall goth tops if you ever find them 😁

Man at my sal val they always have the best plus size goth early 2000’s pieces I am size 2, but I sometime think about buying them to sell to a punk rock plus size queen because I find so many with tags but maybe next time Ill snag them and sell them to someone to rock

I would love a bundle for a larger size, even if it's vintage inspired. I'm 36 bust and 34-36 waist. I wear mostly modern Large size, 12-14.

Heyyy! I do offer those sizes! Plus size starting around size 16 and up is usually what I don’t run into with a 90s/Y2K style. I’m pulling away from vintage just because it’s not necessarily my style so I encourage buyers to reach out for a bundle if we share similar styles!😃✨

So if a buyer has a red lace slip liked and I have a similar red lace slip in my inventory then I’ll pull it to add in their bundle!😃 what ever isn’t pulled for mystery bundles I list individually on my depop!✨
