No armor, no camo, bad shell velocity, mediocre pen, no gun depression, arty-level gun dispersion on a tank that can't use vstab. Yeah, it's a real joy. Can't play passively and get good results, can't play aggressively because you are everyone's 1st target, so you're stuck hanging out with the 50B players in that awkward mid-range support role.

As soon as I saw "bad shell velocity" I understood you, sire, are a 2-key enjoyer and nothing else in life other than trying to hit all your shots on the move

No matter where you aim it will hit the tracks, for no damage, half the time.

Because of Rashan bias... 2/3 of my shots go to a nother dimension.

Grille is one of those tanks that makes you think it has a high skill ceiling, but your "skill" is dependant on good rng

i hate it because it replaced my favorite td the waffentragor e 100 and i still mad i work my tail of to get it to have it take away after 90 days of have it

My fav TD in the game, and my 10,660 damage record keeper for now. Bonded out with bond aiming, bond rammer, bond GLD + GLD directive... thing is a real menace at 0.2 dispersion and 1.22 aim time, it feels broken... but don't tell WG that 😛

Sorry Dez, you definitely get CC rng. Also, average dispersion is not the same as accuracy.

Iove/hate this tank It is a casino on tracks that works half the time. It deserves it's old engine back, imo it's unplayable without a turbo. And when other TDs get 400 pen this things a joke. It should get 375 heat minimum. Not 334. 114 replaced my grille because it does everything better and doesn't die to HE spam

I haven't played in a while with this tank because gun felt unreliable....started playing lately and had much better results....I've changed two things that work for me: 1. waiting to fully aim, 2. changed Bounty Coated Optics to Bounty Exhaust System and Innovative Targeting instead of Bounty Aiming..starting to see more of 5-8 combined dmg and even got an Ace today..love it now..Strv still my preferred Tier X TD

My Grille is missing soo many shots... its ridicolous.. poor pen aswell for a Td. Just frustrating to play

The only tier 10 that i ever 3 marked. Just because it was always exciting to play

0.18m accuracy Shot: Directly on a track or no damage box I dunno, is so strange how this tank make you fail a lot

Grille 15 is one of my favorites

Sold mine years ago because it never seems to hit in the center of the reticle. Maybe I should buy it back and try it again now when there are field mods and better equipment.

Love/Hate relationship. Cant be played passively to have good result - surely pushed my player capabilities on new level when 3-marking it.

IMO people hate the grille because the gun is unworldy derpy. It is supposed to be the most accurate gun in the game or one of em, but my heavies are more accurate than the grille.... at least thats how it feels most games. When the gun behaves it is really fun. One of only 2 tanks ive ever done 11k dmg in.

I trust the kv2 .52 dispersion to hit more often at 500m than the .25 grille does.

obv, heavies play a lot closer to enemies, try sniping in your heavy tank, and you will quickly realize that Grille has excellent gun, its just how this game is played, you will still miss even with laser guns just a lot less than with shit guns

I got the same set up on my Wt auf Pz. Bounty rammer and stage 3 turbo. Great tank.

The most disgusting thing I did with Grill was snipping cheiftain capola twice at 450m

Grille is a great tank, but mine has 650 alpha. Every session I play with it I MUST get a 562 roll at least once and hits over 750 are a rarity. Nevertheless, I love it and I have my damage record with it.

I wish grille had a 360 degree turret lol

I use bond final drive, 2nd tier experimental turbo and bond rammer on my Grille.. have 0.22 dispersion at 100m... And yes, it's a fkin laser.

I love Grille 15 but i tend to have bad luck. I stay in one side and theres nothing to shoot, i move carefully using the mobility but then a unspotted heavy appears and bye, i use a combination of the two playstiles and being more careful but nothing. It`s really hard to master a tank when you have patience issues

i dont use food or purple equipment on it, so mine , miss some shoots. sometimes even more that actually hits.

Id say i wasn't pissed cuz of the Grille 15 specifically, i was pissed cuz of what it replaced...also i thought of it as a natural progression of the TD line...get to the point of being able to have a fully traversable turret, just for them to give you that at tier 10....it's not a bad tank, it just isn't great either...i mean you guys saw it right in the video, its alpha is good, but not like a deathstars. I ended up selling mine and going back to the JPz E-100.

This TD is fun, while the gun is trollish, it's really consistent.

Grille is my favourite td in the game

Grille's gun has a mind of its own. One game, you hit ALL your shots, next game the gun misses even the easiest target. This leads to many frustrating moments, which makes the grille unfun to play. (IMO) After 400 games in it, (60%W/R: im not saying its a bad tank!) i "downgraded" back to wt auf Pz 4...

you should try it out on console as it got a fully rotating turret now. like top see you play console if you can Dez :D

For me I hate this tank so much, the gun is not so accurate as they said, also has less pen in standard and premium ammo, 334 heat is way worst than 350 apcr wt IV has in the sniper gun. Plus this tank doesnt has camo, more camo has e4 or obj 268

Check WT auf Pz IV penetration loss. @500m WT has 295mm of pen: it is the APCR with the biggest penetration loss in the entire game. Why? Because it is german, surelly. At distance WT today is useless.

Must be the paint job.

There is absolutely no fixing this TD. It's not just arguably worse, but demonstrably worse than the WT Pz 4 you play in order to unlock it.

6k assist within 40seconds in Pershing. That is my spoting record and it is really new. Just achived it last week

I sold Grille 15 after more than 1k Battles!!!! Useless Tank.

it has less camo than some heavy tanks, arty is simply raping you, the turret is not fully rotatable, the platform the gun is on is super unstable, you can't even peak an elc even 90 without getting penned, you are tall as buildings, the turret and hull traverse dispersion is huge, the gold pen is the same as an m103 for example. yes, it is accurate when you fully aim, but it's just not a good tank overall. every now and then you get a good game when the stars are all aligned, but skill cap for making this work consistently is way too high. oh, and the tier IX tank is just better. it's just you can't make bonds with it. i can make e4, 268, and 103b work just fine, but this...son a b**ch! 😂😂. sorry for the rant.

I left wot because of this tank..what is the usefulness of a tank that has a gun that can't hit???? Plus no camo,no super pen, slow shell velocity, can't put vstabs, no armor, gun dose more critical hits than any other tank in game, gun days 750 but actually it'a 630 alpha and sometimes dip to 562 alpha that thing never happens in jagedpanzer or FV guns..i bounce even 90 tracks with this tank for jesus sake, due to that myth of accurate gun that misses a lot you get closer and be enemy 1st target , arty will feast on you for days.. this TD needs a change either apcr shells with super speed or high pen heats.. or simply add camo to it.. or stock gun of tier 9 TD with higher dom and gun stats

It sucks so much, got it, played it about a month, its just crap. It is slow in reverse, has no armor and cannot really shift its turret forcing you to always offer enemies 50% of your non existent armor before you can take a shot yourself. Yeah the shots are super accurate, it slaps, but in most games after second round you are already dead since you are spotted SO easily and always have to show your weak tank armor in order to get a shot out. It simply cost so much money to maintain for so rare moments where Grille works .. I hate it. Sold it.

Substitute turning device for the improved aiming and it will be even better. But unfortunately it is tier 10 so the games will be absolute shit as there are so many low wn8 players on your team who explode within the first minute. Avoid tier 10 and wot has some enjoyable moments.

Yea but your account is buffed by wg, and so is all of the greater wot streamers, otherwise you wouldnt play the game if you miss most shots or get rolled over in most games, us peasent we are just masochist and still love the game even when we get the shaft by wg

This lie tank made me scream too much. Sold and since then I am the luckiest and happiest player in WOT. Do not pretend to play it any more again in my life. They're is no reason to maintain a toxic relationship right? Just acknowledge get rid of it and move on.

When ı got grille 15 and used it with standart equipments, it's shooted so bad even I wanted to sell. Then I start playing it with chocolate, bounty aiming and bounty gun laying drive , bro it becomes monster, now grille15 my favorite td and trust me , bounty aiming works well on this tank , try this build and you will love it

Grille 15 is a good and fun tank to play. With Bounty Aiming and Bounty Rotation Mechanism (some may choose gun laying drive) this tank can do many thing, both support and assault

That first shot on JG was such a noob shot, you literally waited for him to angle and then you shoot.

I preffer it with experimental optics and bounty exhaust. Nothing can beat that 510 meters view range and medium tank camo rating combo. It works best for me
