I noticed that too in this clip. Koch brother's shifted their aligence and money to Liz after she lost her seat, she liikely has a personal make=up artist now for public appearances.

As a conservative independent a person who loves American history I have never admired someone so much for standing up for our democracy no matter what the cost

I also want to thank Lester Holt for bringing this to us.

As a democrat I admire this woman and what she did for this country during the January 6th commission hearings. She stepped up to the plate and put what mattered before her political career and paid a very heavy price for that decision. Wyoming should be ashamed for what they sent to Congress in her place. It was remarkable that she and Adam Kinzinger were able to set aside their differences in political views and work TOGETHER with the democrats as people and not parties. We as a country need to vote for the CONSTITUTION and not any one person.

Warnock, Ossoff, et al are great as local politicians but they can't get what Biden already has nationally. People hoping Biden doesn't run are misguided. Yes, it's very respectable what she's doing. If she runs in 2024, hope you're still voting for Biden. Any vote away from Biden (to any party) will weaken his chances - and help trump. I suspect this is part of why she's hesitating to run -- because she realizes that if she ran, some misguided voters may vote for her over the Democratic nominee. That would help trump. She's laser-focused on removing trump, and will try to ensure she only takes votes away from trump, and not take any votes from Biden.

Not me. I am not a fan of Liz. She voted for Trump policies 89 percent of the time. I do admire her for strength and bravery in standing up against fascism. It's obvious that her love for her country overwhelmingly surpasses the love for 1 seriously flawed individual. Same here. What amazes me most is the hypocrisy of the rest of Republicans (there are some exceptions). It's obvious those Republicans led by McConnell choose to the behave on behalf of their party and not for the country as Liz is doing. Country and Constitution first.

She has courage & my respect.

It's so refreshing to hear a Republican speak with Emotional Maturity. It's necessary for our democracy to not hate each other. We can disagree, but still like each other and work together.

Never thought that I would admire the words of Liz Cheney so much. She is right on point.

I’m a Canadian liberal and have always been, I listen and have watched this wonderful intelligent woman over the last few years and would think that the United States would be foolish not to consider this lady to run for president. People of the United States should seriously consider her as the republican nominee. God bless you miss Chaney.

Liz needs to be on national broadcasts three time a week. That she is not, points to the failure of news media to educate voters and protect American democracy. She has something to say that everyone should be hearing.

I wasn’t a fan of Liz, especially her father but she has proven to me that even though her political stance wasn’t for me, that she believes in democracy, is for America 🇺🇸 and it’s values.. I support her and definitely would vote for her if she ran for president ✌🏼

First thing is to discover why so many continue to support Trump in the first place...even risking democracy to help maintain his relevance. People know full well that he is an adulterer,fornicator,,bribing,bragging, cheating,gaslighting, narcissistic,vindictive,bully,insulting,grifting charismatic, liar and SELFISH CRIMINAL. My guess is the same reason why Hitler and Mussolini became so powerful. The other question is why aren't Americans intelligent enough to realize that history will repeat itself only if you let it?

Great interview. Very good questions by mr. Holt. Very good answers by mrs. Cheney. What a relief that there still are honest and upright republicans. And what a shame that one has to use a microscope to find them.

I believe that Liz will be rewarded for her Honesty & Valor. We need people like her to continue to fight & serve this country.

As a Canadian, maybe I shouldn't be meddling in the affairs of the great United States of America but it seems to me that Liz Cheney is gifted with both the intellect and importantly, the integrity and honour to lead the people of America . . . she would not only make a seriously great President, it would also be really fantastic to see a woman of her caliber, FINALLY break the glass ceiling!

I'm a Republican and I would definitely support her if she runs! She is honest, competent, and diligent about doing the right thing, even if it hurts! I think she is in the rare position of having a certain appeal to moderates on either side, and that's what our country needs to get past our current differences and move ahead. She would be strong but wise, sensible and ethical, firm but fair.

If anyone can rebuild the Republican party it is Liz Cheney. Once trump is denounced, and thrown into the trash bin, the winds of change will be strong, and she is someone who could breath new life into it. She is strong, confident, and competent.

I never thought I'd say a positive thing about her, but she's blown me away with her honour and integrity.
