I was so incredibly skeptical at first. I love Lestat, so naturally I love Tom Cruise's Lestat. When I first heard of the show, didn't think I'd watch it because I wouldn't be able to see Lestat as anyone but in the movie. Luckily I came around before the show premiered and I was so incredibly wrong. Sam Reid 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I would say Sam Reid nailed this role and he took singing lessons, piano lessons and learned how to speak French and Italian. He did a better job I have to agree with you He was more convincing than Tom Cruise was. I loved how Sam dances with danger and his yelling gets me all the time.. Bravo to this series I love it and this was actually good and I can't wait for Season 2 Anne Rice would be so proud of this cast.

I never liked Tom Cruise's Lestat in the first place. Didn't even like Brad Pitt that much as Louis. So, after seeing San Reid play Lestat is an ultimate feast for my heart and eyes. He's incredible. Love his voice, the way he talks as Lestat and everything. He's the perfect Lestat. Always.

I have to say I loved Sam Reid as Lestat and he did a great job and he studied French & Italian and played the piano and sang his first song Come To Me! I love this TV series b/c it shows New Orleans and Anne Rice would have loved this. Sam Reid is going to be in season 2 I cant wait! Sam Reid played Lestat to the tea.

I really love this interpretation of Lestat, it’s genuinely fantastic, but his love isn’t patient and profound is selfish, manipulative and destructive, toxic as if. This series is different from the source material, great but every scene is a fenomenal fan service including Lestat’s sick love for Louis.
