My thoughts exactly. The moment I saw him in S1, I knew his portrayal of Lestat is gonna be the death of me lol. And my admiration for his talent only grew since then.

it's the subtle acting for me. lestat's prancing around at the beginning, but as soon as armand starts talking to him, that smile is gone. for a few seconds you can see him freaking out before pasting a smile back on and continuing his lines, but he keeps scanning the crowd, trying to figure out who is in his head. he sees armand, puts the cocky smile back on fully, but right before he turns, you can see how pissed he is. methinks this is reminding lestat of how magnus stalked and took him. brilliant acting

I don’t know who Sam Reid was before, but he IS Lestat. My gawd his performance is masterclass…

I knew him from a few things like the film Belle, you should give that a watch, it's very good and other shows like The Astronauts Wives Club and then I looked up more stuff he was in and i found that he was so underrated so when I heard they were doing this show and he was playing LESTAT AND that Jacob was gonna be Louis, I nearly fell off my chair. I was so excited😊

I’m completely blown away by Sam Reid. What an actor! I don’t think I’ve ever admired someone’s performance this much! Saw someone saying “Lestat is possessing him” and I think this is the truest truth. Extraordinary actor!!! All of them are brilliant but Sam is THE BEST

Sam is SUCH an amazing actor. The entire show and actors are superb. Once it hits Netflix, I hope it hits the heights it deserves. Can’t wait for Sam to tell the story of Lestat in the 3rd season

I'm OBSESSED with this show!! The characters are all so passionate. It's really refreshing!!

Sam Ried was amazing in this and He was better Lestat than Tom Cruise was. I always was a fan of Anne Rice's Interview With A Vampire but this is great. Anne Rice would have loved this and Sam Reid spoke Italian and French and even learned how to sing and play the piano and he read all the books. I can't wait for this to come on DVD and Sam Reid went to London Academy Of Dramatic Arts. I can't wait to see what Sam does next. AMC has been killing it lately.

As much as I appreciate the changes, I wish they kept Magnus original background... He stole the dark gift after he was rejected by the coven literally because he was too old and too ugly, which was hilarious

So you know how in GOTDragon’s Ser Crispy ass can’t get over the fact Rhenerya didn’t run off to live in poverty with him after some mediocre sex?? Armand is giving that vibe when he speaks of Lestat. Like…in this scene Lestat is just being an EXCELLENT Harlequin. He’s a showman and natural entertainer…nothing at all to to with him being a vampire, but Armand jumps right to…he uses his vampire powers in front of humans meeeehhh….
