Sadly I think you’re right , he does love him, if ever there was a time for him to say it , was after this beating, but he could not even bring himself to say to Lestat ‘I don’t love you ‘ even if as payback for this beating. Tragic!

E M, Oui, I couldn't agree more !!! Men can be so complicated sometimes 😒. I'm sure Lestat is well aware of Louis's love for him, but Lestat needs to hear it from Louis's mouth...
Sam and Jacob did so awesome in the fight scene. The stunts were right on point. They both acted their hearts out.

Bailey Bass was wonderful in this scene too. She perfectly captured the helpless desperate feeling you get when someone you love is being hurt and you can't save them.

Vampire and Human logic is not the same. This is a fucking masterpiece. This is SO Lestat and Louis, in the books they hurt one another and also love one another until they are "end-game". In the end, it is always Lestat and Louis, they always come back to each other. They've always been in love with one another and grow so much as individuals over the 100's years throughout the series.
this episode really shows how lestat feels soo entitled to Louis love. but when Lestat and Claudia are basically fighting over him. and at the end when he says :it was never u i wanted" to Claudia it shows this whole domestic life was to keep Louis happy. keep in mind Louie was gonna leave lestate prior to saving Claudia I think. so the fact he took in and saved Claudia speaks to him doing everything for louie.. It has always been about Louie. which is why lestat dosn't want Louie to be with or love anyone else not even his own daughter.Lestate loves Louie and feels so deserving of Louie love. that when Claudia comes back and Louie looks at her instead of him. he feels Louie slipping away.
This scene is sad touching heartbreaking and epic at the same time 💔💔

This was such a tragic episode.
This was devastatingly sad superb acting people get upset about how violent Lestat got but they are vampires not human

Well Louis did say he was hateful when Claudia was gone. Lestat tried to be patient with Louis during this time, but what took Lestat over the edge was Louis leaving him & choosing Claudia over him. Cannot wait for Sunday!

But it was a very toxic and difficult relationship specially at the begining and I love that Jacob and Sam understand this because in the interviews they always talk about how they are endgame despite all the hurt and terrible things they do to each other.
