In English the students name is written as Abdur and it's incorrect to write that way in Arabic cause his name means "Slave of the merciful" عبد - slave الرحمان - the merciful Together it's pronounced Abdur Rehman. Writing just Abdur would translate as "Slave of The" which obviously makes no sense. Also, as far as I'm aware, "Sheikh" is just a respectable title used for older men. It's not his given name.

Started watching this Arabic conversation in 2024...✨ mashallah
I thought it was really, really good! I am Mexican and my husband is Palestinian so I am exposed to Arabic quite often. I know several words but it is cool to hear them actually put together in sentences for every-day conversations. Jazak Allah, Sheikh Munaf!

Assalamualaikum apa kabar?
Manshallah It's amazing how Islam bring people from different parts of the world together. I went to Hong Kong for a trip and ran into these group of young Muslim brothers and the welcomed me and gave me a tour. It's an amazing feeling to know you have brothers and sisters no matter where you go in the world. Asalamu alaykum to all of you.

Hello there, I am Anurag.R.Simha. I am from Karnataka. Amidst my academics, I learnt some Arabic. I understood 95% of this conversation. Indeed, it was worth learning. My mother language is Kannada. Additionally, I speak English too. Since I got a feeling to learn quite a few more languages I picked Arabic as the choice. I've not yet made a halt to learning the language (I am also learning Spanish in parallel). I aspire to add more and more words to my Arabic dictionary. By the way, these two gentlemen sound excellent. Love from Karnataka.... ನಮಸ್ಕಾರ _/\_ ما السَلامَ _/\_
