Just found this one! So nice Dave. It’s gonna take me a while to the chords down smoothly, but I love this song. For me, I think I was a senior in high school when I started getting into the Philadelphia sound a la gamble and huff. I have my Strat in hand now! Great lesson for sure. I spent this afternoon watching Soul Train reliving my youthful years. Thanks Dave, this is great. More soul tunes are appreciated by this older white guy.

We are on the same page. Literally fooled around with this one in the afternoon and then saw your video. I was playing Bmi7 rather than the Emi9 you’re doing. Yours sounds closer. Now need to figure out the horn/string/harpsichord break as a guitar solo. Keep em coming. Btw... saw The Spinners do a free concert in NYC in the early 90s. So good. Matching sequins shirts, choreographed dance moves, old school type perfection all around.

funny, i only knew the Spinners from their song 'It's a Shame'. I only heard 'Could it be I'm falling in love' for the first time a couple of days ago. I instantly thought of your channel and I wasn't too surprised to see you'd done a lesson on it. Thanks for doing it, it's such an amazing tune and you make it so easy to play along.

Time to go to Chord school....Man Dave you're making my fingers and Brain work hard....might have to go Off of Unemployment due to all the work these R&B classics are employing me to do... Thank You Dave, really appreciate you bringing these tunes out and showing us some serious Song writing skills....I was alive when these songs were newly living and breathing. When was the last time an EbMaj7 chord was used in a hit song?
