In this class we begin learning Raag Bhairav (राग भैरव). Bhairav has all seven notes with Re and Dha being Komal or flat notes. It is a Raag which is often used to do Riyaz or practice of the notes. Most of the class is dedicated to doing Riyaz in this Raag. All the Swar Alankar (स्वर अलंकार) from Lessons 1 and 2 can be done in Raag Bhairav. We practice some of these and some additional ones.
