Hi Lisa Homa, Thank you so much for this lesson. I don't know whom to reach out but why don't we do workshops in the hospitals and LTCs in Ontario to aware and inform all the nurses who are working and currently going through all these "WHAT IFs" on a daily basis? Why is it that the newly graduate nurses are taught all this good stuff and clearly due to "WHAT IFs" they find themselves out of words; "NO VOICE OF THEIR OWN" and often a times are bossed around or blamed and looked down at for being the least experienced nurses. Many times I feel that all these lessons are useless when we cannot change what is already going on in the institutions. Workshops for all the nurses who are working should be made mandatory to put this message across everyone. We teach culturally congruent care but we don't start or implement culturally congruent education system. That's where it should begin. I am sorry if I OFFENDED anyone here but this is so true. Don't you think?

Great point! You have definitely identified gaps within the system that need to be changed! It is valuable what you have shared. This is a great starting point for making the future in healthcare better! I would encourage you to keep asking questions and let the challenge/frustration drive you to change things! Thanks for sharing your feedback and for watching! Lisa
