Gladys, I must say that you are looking better than ever previously. When you mentioned the sickness months ago, I was deeply touched and begin praying that God would direct you in His pathway to healing. We know that He is still in the miracle-working business, as evidenced with you!

I was introduced to hope Sabbath School by a friend. To God be the glory Hope Sabbath School has opened up new ways of studying Gods Word.I am always blessed. May God give you wisdom to continue to do His will.

O, thank You Our Father Who art in Heaven, through Our LORD Jesus Christ, You gave us victory, that WHOMSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM should not perish, but have ETERNAL LIFE!!! HALLELUJAH!!! Heeding and living in obedience in ALL that which Our LORD God has Commanded us to do and be, and also telling others to do so, will help us to be victorious!!!. Choosing Our LORD God to fill us with the Holy Spirit, Who will guide and help us to win ALL the temptations of the enemy, which he may try to bring our way, so that he may sweep us away from Our LORD, as he did with the 1/3(a third) of the angels. WOW! first time listener here at the encouragement of my brother who was a microlight tourist pilot in Zambia where he encountered the seventh day adventists at work and was so very impressed with their belief and dedication to the Lord. Wow. So exciting to hear that God has changed your life. That can only happen through God, but we do pray always that God speaks through us, so we're so happy to hear from you, and your testimony.

This study is good

Lately when I hear the account of 1/3 of the angels being swept by the dragon's tail, I see it also as his tale. So while we've been given graphic imagery and I've always just taken it as a tail, remember that the war was a war of ideas where, unfortunately, 1/3 of the angels accepted the dragon's story, his tale. In this life, the question still remains: "whose report will you believe?" To whose tale will you hold?

Satan I don't think left heaven of his own will because it says Satan and his angels fought and didn't prevail but were cast out. Cast out doesn't mean leaving willing but being told to leave with no coming back

When we think of Satan's position as a covering Cherub in Heaven .Yet he fell from this position because of pride and arrogance. We aught to pay attention to guard our hearts from the temptation to exalt self . The scripture says pride goes before a fall . This is clearly seen here .

I think the continuous disobedience of Satan towards God guidance was that he wanted God to do something to him so that the angels will see God as bad all the angels will follow him. Unfortunately our God is a living loving God with so much patience. But He has his limits

The story of Redemption by E.G. gives us more insight...

Not a third of the angels at first sympathized with satan, but nearly half of the angels at first were deceived before the physical war in heaven broke out. “Then Satan exultingly pointed to his sympathizers, comprising nearly one half of all the angels, and exclaimed, These are with me! Will you expel these also, and make such a void in Heaven? He then declared that he was prepared to resist the authority of Christ, and to defend his place in Heaven by force of might, strength against strength.” 1SP 22.2 Also, the question as to whether satan was cast out physically or with harsh words or something, the war in heaven was physical. “Fearful tests and trials await the people of God. The spirit of war is stirring the nations from one end of the earth to the other. But in the midst of the time of trouble that is coming,-a time of trouble such as has not been since there was a nation,-God's chosen people will stand unmoved. Satan and his host cannot destroy them, for angels that excel in strength will protect them.” 9T 17.1 Define war and its tools.

Derek asked for Rev 20:1,2 to be read yet Travis was distracted, so the passage was omitted. From ESV:- Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, nholding in his hand the key to othe bottomless pit1 and a great chain. 2 And he seized pthe dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and qbound him for a thousand years, This makes clear that God will allow Satan, Dragon, Adversary or whatever other name might be used, to cease existing. Presumably, also ends iniquity, sin.

Thank you for the Bible study. I just like to say we should consider using the King James Bible from the 1611 edition. If you watch the u tube channel from Brandon Peterson. His channel is called TruthisChrist he proof that the newer versions of the Bible do have many verses that is changed and in the process do not spread the thruth about Jesus Christ. Brandon is not an Adventist but I am sure God is working in his life. Greetings from South Africa.
