Lesson 1, Online Russian Class
This is Lesson 1 of my 4- week Challenge Course.
In this lesson, we will learn the question 'Кто это?', learn basic vocabulary and structure simple sentences.
www.helpmyrussian.com/courses...
Why is this course different from others? My strong belief is that following a strict order of grammatical - lexical concepts you achieve the best results. Don't fall into an appallingly populated illusion that " if you just speak a lot", " just listen to Russian songs", or" watch Russian movies a lot" you will learn to speak. You will only learn to speak when you build a structure in your brain, your brain associates it with the word and then the image is shaped.
Thank you for learning Russian with me!

Thanks. You are a great teacher. ❤
I swear, this is by far the best Russian learning video I've ever seen, you explain so well and your pronunciation is very clear, also I have very little knowledge in Russian but I understood 90% of the lesson and learned so much in just 20 minutes. I hope I stay consistent in learning and thank you so much for the wonderful lesson!
Spisiba! Your teaching method helped me learn how to read the Russian language.❤
You are truly a wonderful teacher. You don't know how much your lessons mean.
As someone who picked up Polish pretty quickly from work, I found that Slavic languages are very easy to learn for me, AND sound beautiful to the ear 👂🏽
this is my first time and I am really impressed with the way you explained and provided us with your Russian language
Teaching is a gift. You're definitely gifted and I just subscribed.
I'm very impressed; have learned a lot in one short lesson. Спасибо.

Thank you for this beginning lesson! I like your teaching style and the way you explain things clearly. You also speak slowly and enunciate. So important for beginners!
I ADDED THE CHANNEL, I AM LOVING THE CLASSES AND AS YOU EXPLAIN, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, ALL STUDY YOUR CHANNEL FOR 2 TO 4 HOURS A DAY. WHEN I RETURN TO EUROPE, BECAUSE I AM IN BRAZIL, I WANT TO KNOW YOU VERY GRATEFULLY VERY HAPPY FOR THE COURSE.
Thanks!
Thank you.I learn a lot from this lesson.
thanks teacher.
I've learned a lot from this lesson. The structure is eerily similar to Bengali, my native language, and you enunciated each word and explained it really clearly. All in all, it was very helpful and now I have a clear direction to follow!
Thank you so much for good and useful lesson
You are such a good teacher and very thorough. Thank you. I enjoyed my first lesson.

What a blessing! I found this channel on a Facebook group page and this is by far, one of the most excellent Russian language teachers from what I've watched before. I see that the Russian language is very straightforward than English, eliminating any articles etc. I look up to your videos! Very helpful! 👏👏

Russian is cool!)
I agree to your approach. I wasted both my money and my time on 'Rosetta Stone' back in 2010. I am at the 'intermediate level' and so I probably will not finish this video.

Why the letter "o" sounds/ is pronounced like "a" ? It is written Eto , but it sounds like Eta, or director- when you pronounce it , you say direktar?

Hi Positive Learner! ВЫ is the beginning form of the personal pronoun YOU( plural or singular formal).ВАС is the direct object form. Just like in English you don't say " I see she" you say " I see her" - in Russian Я вижу ВАС. It's also the form for a couple of other cases - Genitive and Prepositional.

why you teach people by lecture, by theory, for what audience classes like this? you must speak only in Russian, you break the main method- with no intermediate language)(((((((
@HelpMyRussian
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Helga! Glad to meet you too! I will gladly answer your question! 1) there are people who prefer to use an intermediate language in the lessons. My audience is people who appreciate clear and comprehensive approach without guessing and figuring out rules for themselves. There are just different requests, different people, you know. 2) “no intermediate language “is not the main method. It has several drawbacks- a) slow progress( time consuming while people try to figure out the structure) b) not systematic c) difficulty to explain abstract concepts and vocabulary. d) trouble in communication with a student e) students have tendency interfering their native language f) I am not that genius perhaps
