I met with our engineers to discuss your feedback and we have ideas to make it more convenient to access storage from both sides of the box. Bins in the lower cubbies is a great idea and easy to do. Drew and Mark - Alice and I just use an extra long propane hose and run it from the tank on the front box mount, underneath the trailer, then behind the tire, and up to the Discada burner attachment. Voila!! (And I think we showed this to Brigham at the Bean Rally at Overland West). Love the Stalker!!! 👍🏻 Thanks to both of you.

Drew really is an authority on teardrop trailers and I think that Bean positively listening as attentively as they are to the feedback is absolutely wonderful and reflects very, very well on their company! I think that Drew 'nitpicking' as he put it, is very, very valuable for Bean and it will be interesting to see how they take the feedback and act upon it. Bean is already successful, but I wish them more success as any company that is willing to listen to feedback deserves it.

You think with something only 4 x 8 or 5 x 10 there wouldn’t be that much to learn. But there is so much packed into these little guys.

@jgrant4520 i’m wondering how easy of a modification that would be? I’m picturing just the stove coming out and a slide out coming in. You should take a look at a stalker if you’re ever near one. It is a pretty rudimentary slide out system that most people could probably emulate on their own.

hi drew. Ok, its important to note, bouncing around does NOT just affect the trailer and frame. Items in the trailer, Generators or solar batteries, electronics like computers, and other things like that do NOT like heavy shocks or being thrown around... Many items have G limits, being how much g-forces they can take before breaking internally. So while a trailer may make it through an area just fine... the items inside... might get scrambled. This is where the difference in suspension comes in. That or buying military or ruggidized electronics.

Hey Drew, I actually bought a bean stalker and it was in big part to your original bean videos! You definitely bring up valid criticisms all of which I have myself, especially about the lack of fuel plumbing. To get around that I had to buy an really long propane hose because I got so tired of needing to unhook that propane tank. Seems like a simple fix on beans end and hopefully they'll incorporate some of these changes into future versions!

I like that you got creative and found a solution. You have me thinking. Could you imagine taking your Bean to the Phlippines! That would be a blast. About a year ago, I noticed Avenger Box out of Thailand started marketing to the Philippines. From time to time I see videos of the Avenger Box rolling across Luzon.

"Adding more by subtraction"!!!! I'm stealing that phrase because it's exactly what I suspect a lot are looking for. When a friend was looking for a camper recently he was hit with sticker shock and suddenly thought I was crazy for buying a camper because Bean was one of the only brands he had looked at. This model is a step in the right direction, but it's still twice the price most are looking at for starting out.

I think you’re right with that twice as much statement. I think there are a lot of people that this hits a sweet spot for them. But I still think there’s another market that Bean hasn’t tapped into yet. I call it the Drew market. I keep asking for this trailer, someday I hope Bean will make it.

However, I do know economics and business don't last long if they don't know what people want. Bean has been around a while, so, I have no doubt Bean is doing what's best for Bean.

I’m with you on the drawers. They are such a great organization feature. Also with you on the direct connection to the stove. I think that is my one real dislike with my Bean Stock. There is definitely room to partition the front box to make room for long things. I do wish I had that window on mine. Much better than the slider version…especially on rainy nights. I may consider changing my hitch to an articulating version for a little more security on uneven terrain, but I really haven’t had issues with the ball style hitch. I like what Bean is doing here and think they could really refine this version even more.

I have been experimenting with solutions for my 2" inch. I have a little system I developed. Essentially 3 things that I now do that make it pretty great. One off them includes this ball amzn.to/3Zt9nM3 It doesn't necesarily help offroad, but greatly improves city trave and bumpy roads.

I love how they've simplified everything in the galley. ❤❤ Still, it's got way more off road capability than I will ever need. Bean makes awesome trailers, I just don't get to camp enough to make it, worth the purchase price. I really love this one though.

At least they got rid of the sink. I love counter space when cooking and always feel like a sink just gets in the way and creates an unnecessary leak risk. It's hard to find a well equipped trailer that doesn't come standard with a sink.

just toured the bean facility in salt lake city. I gravitated to the bean stalker for its simplicity and it is marketed as its economical package. When I was quoted $35,000 (this also doesn't include a heater which is a necessary add on for us), I realized this wasn't the company for me as our definitions of "economical" are to far off.

We don't use the word "economical" we use the words "value oriented". Bean Stalker is a value when compared to other off road capable trailers with similar construction(one piece molded fiberglass shell, composite walls, etc.), quality of materials and fit and finish. Those are much more expensive trailers. If that is not important to you, there are lots of more "economical" trailers. Thanks for your visit.

Yes, it takes a while to understand the categories. These are one piece fiberglass shell offroad campers. So your comparble trailer would be Escapod trailers, Also $40,000 trailers. Thursday we have a video coming out with Bean's new $16,995 model. If you are looking for composite/fiberglass, but affordable checkout Runaway Campers and the Road Toad Camper from Camp Inn.

Another great video review. Thanks Drew! You have really helped with researching smaller campers. We are hoping to start designing our own this winter. We really need something that fits a real (not 4 inch, foldable, etc) Cal King mattress. My joints just can't handle camping pads etc anymore. And we will need a much bigger bunk for our 8 yr old who's 4.5' tall already. I love all the ideas I get from these videos!

Awww. Hank is one of my all-time favorite dogs. We first met Hank and he was all feet. Now you just Gotta get out of the way because when he’s excited he can push you around. Ridgebacks are such special dogs. I must admit I’m a little jealous that you have one. Our family has always been fans of big dogs. Unfortunately, our oldest boy is extremely allergic to them. We’re all hopeful He’ll grow out of it though.

@@PlayingwithSticks They are a special bread, my pup is the same way when he gets excited, ya better move! He is 8 and still acts like a puppy. Hope he does grow out of it, I thankfully did (although I love gos enough that I would deal with it either way).

If I had money, I'd like a meaner bean or black bean. I like squared fenders to set stuff on. When I had my propane tank up front, I had a longer hose made at the propane store, and just hooked it up to the bottom of the LG Five Wide; it worked fine. I ran it under the trailer to keep it out of the way. I have changed things now, but would like to get a longer truck box up front of trailer and put my propane back to the front. One burner is enough for me and the dog. My sink is good for hand washing, but I could live with the water containers. I have a roof basket but stuff gets wet in there, and I cannot stand on my fenders to get stuff in and out. I don't want a skottle. But all the Beans are nice. I like drawers also.

That is a really good point on the squared fenders. I’ve never had squared fenders, so it’s not something that I think about. I’m glad you brought that up.

Great video, Drew! I own a Bean Stalker that I bought in October 2022. My family and I love it! Mine actually has the same doors as the Bean Stock (I like better than the screened doors) and the interior galley cabinet has the hinge doors instead of the sliders.

Oh yea. Things were changing in the early months - fast. When we ordered ours, only 1 window was an option. Then just after we picked it up in Jan ‘23, two windows. Also I think they have a heater option now. While we’d love that, I wouldn’t really want to give up the storage space under the galley counter top.

I raised a similar complaint about not plumbing the propane line to the back of the Stalker with Cindy. It is my understand that they are looking into it. They already figured out how to run the propane back there for a heater option on the stalker, so adding a quick connect on the side shouldn't be too difficult. I do understand that the point of the Stalker and the Stalk is to get something that they can streamline the manufacturing process to keep the price low.

Yes, I feel kind of bad for mentioning it because I realize they’re trying to keep the cost down. But at the same time, like you said, it would be really nice.

I like the Bean trailers. I like the galley with no water tanks and the no slide out stove. Are those fenders stand on? I would like to see that. I like the idea of the discata mount; however, I would like to see a mount you could use another cooking device like my 17” Blackstone. Agreed on the tongue box.

I believe the fenders are probably rated as non-stand on like the bean stock. But I would say if you’re under 300 pounds you could stand up on them. I’m right with you on that 17 inch Blackstone mount. I’ve been carrying around a 17 inch Blackstone this summer. I tried to make a mount for it on our pop-up, and it was a bit too heavy. What I currently do and it’s a good solution is I mount it on the tailgater tire table. Because the axle is so close to the rear end of a teardrop trailer. The tire gator table is pretty close to the galley.

I love this trailer. The only thing I was was available was heat. Anyway we can get that as an option in the future?

My family and I are beginning our teardrop research and my wife is concerned about the sleeping arrangements for our 3 and 1 year old girls. The Bean Stalker has so many pros but will the cot be enough? Once they get bigger do you just have to go to the rooftop tent?

Drew your videos just seem to get more and more polished. This is a great trailer with quality design and components. My only comment is the dry weight of 2,000 pounds. Thats only 700 pounds lighter then my 18 foot stand up that has a interior wet bath. I wonder if they could shave a few pounds by running a cross bar connecting the Timbrens were they are intended to connect. The boxed in frame just seems heavy and not really nessassary on such a narrow chassis.

Thanks Bart! I really appreciate the kind words. That is something I have spoken at great length with Bean about. The weight doesn't fall into the category where I would like to see it. But, I have come to understand that is part of the Bean Brand. Could they make a lighter trailer that many of us would love? Absolutely. But, do they want to? Not at the moment. They want to be known as a manufacturer that makes trailers that can wishstand whaterver you throw at them. Even to the point of being overbuilt.

I looked at bean along with most others out there and their models are too heavy for my tow vehicle. They do seem to be a cool company. I went with a camp-inn 550. 😀

That’s always been my biggest struggle with a Bean. I have mentioned it in many of my past videos. They are definitely on the heavy side for our tow vehicles as well. And you would think with a composite trailer Bean could make a really lightweight version. I’ve been asking for one of these for years, but I don’t think it’s on brand for Bean. Great choice on the 550 by the way!

Great video as always Drew. Lots of a good things and bad with this Stalker....I know the name is a play on Bean... but Bean Stalk would have been less creepy than "Stalker" lol. I've never cooked with a disc...is there a lot of grease splatter that is going to get all over the sides of the trailer with the mounts on the sides like that? The fold down table on my swing out gets coated with splatter from my cooking, I have to clean it all the time.

That’s a good question. May and I have a big list of meals we’re going to be cooking on it this month. So I think we’ll find out pretty quickly.

$35,000.....that's just out of our budget. After a ton of research for a more budget oriented trailer with no galley, I think the Venturist trailer, with its Timbren axles, is the one for us. We don't sleep where we cook our food, so the galley is just another place for a possible leak. I understand everyone has their own camping needs and style, but for under $20,000 I can build a Venturist with massive battery reserves, solar, lights, heating, air, hot shower, ICECO fridge and large water capicity. There are many youtube videos on this trailer and modifications. Not to knock bean, as its an incredible trailer, we just cant justify that price.

I don’t know if you know this, but that is in our top three teardrops. So if you want our unsolicited advice, we’d say you’re making a good decision. Also, I’m a huge fan of a 6 foot wide trailer.

Only thing I would do is since you. An fold the mattress up to a “sofa” I would mount a small table mount on the floor so you can have a small light weight table would and when not on use the table top would be under the mattress

Whew! This is one of your videos I watched and was thinking that I'd like to try a couple weeks in this trailer. Random thoughts.... On the drive through desert shots did they shoot video of opening the hatch after all that dust and mud? I want to see that shot. The logic on the location of the solar panels is perfect. I always want the galley facing east at the end of the day. The solar makes you orient correctly. Since wind is not your friend in the galley that orientation might help get you out of the wind. Lack of storage is a thing but certainly manageable. I really like the interior height and all the gear hung about the outside. Thanks!

I’ve never had anyone talk about the orientation of the trailer like you did. That really makes sense. As for the dust, I find most of these composite trailers regardless of where you go, and how far you go all get a little bit of dust in the galley. But it’s all very minimal. The only 100% dust free galleys I’ve used are traditional wood teardrops, and that’s because of the weight of the door. And even with all the traditional wood built Teardrops I’ve seen. I’ve found only a couple that were completely sealed.

Ok so how long till they add electronics into the front box, to allow you to pull your bike battery and store it in a charger in the box, or directly plug your bike into a shrouded, water/mud proof socket to charge the bike and/or keep it charged while traveling?

Insane that $31k a “value” trailer. I mean it’s a great trailer but holy cow. You’d have to use it a LOT to justify that vs a cheaper trailer.

The only other thing that I would do to that trailer is. Make it so you could slide the cooler to the inside on rainy days. Or if you're just lounging inside and you want a quick drink Or sandwich

@frankshort1448 that’s all we need as well and that’s actually what we put in our newest trailer. We don’t cook inside, but we do prefer to make coffee and occasionally toast in the morning.

Bean makes great trailers, I’m just struggling to understand why they keep grouping these trailers into “new” models. They have like 5 different models now, that are all pretty much the same trailer, with extremely small variations and have all the same add ons as the others. Maybe it’s just me but this only serves to confuse me. I just think having a one single model that any of their add ons could be added to, you pick the suspension, etc. pretty much how everyone else does it, ya know?

I could see how it appears that way. Great question! There’s a number of reasons. First, when you’re producing as many trailers as a company like Bean, it’s all about getting your manufacturing time down. Instead of making every trailer a custom trailer if you have a number of trailers in your lineup that can be bought off the factory floor , you’re greatly increasing your plants productivity. Second, they are targeting the market as it ebbs and flows. Escapod comes out with the Topo 2 trailer for $40,000 and everybody thought it was absurd. Or was it? Bean comes out with the black bean, their most expensive trailer, and coincidentally, it becomes their number one selling trailer. Then the economy slows down. Everybody still wants a black beans, but can’t quite justify it. And then they come out with the Beanstalker. Now the economy is getting even tighter. Wonder if they’ll come out with a budget trailer? See how this is working? Like you, I find it a bit confusing with all the models, especially when Bean Stock sounds like Bean Stalker. But this is why I’m not in sales and couldn’t sell anything if my life depended on it 😆

Drew, thanks for the content. Love it! Huge Bean fan here. We’re a family of 4 and have a “Bean Fund” that’s slowly growing each month with hopes to buy in the next 6-12 months. We thought we loved Mean Bean until we looked more closely at the Stalker. You definitely get more with the Stalker at a better price! Here’s my one question for you, especially since you and your family have spent a lot of time in teardrops. Stalker seems to be lacking in the storage area, especially for things like clothes, jackets, hiking boots, etc. Does the tow vehicle become the closet instead? We’re used to packing bags and keeping them in our tents for easy access, but that won’t really be an option with a Stalker. I’d love your thoughts on this! And thanks again - your videos and tips have made us love the outdoors even more, and we can’t wait to get our own Bean one day soon.

Love the Bean Fund! I’m just picturing this little glass jar in your home 😃 Based on your comment here I’m thinking you’ve never seen a Bean in person? Is that correct? I say this because I’ve been in a lot of small camper trailers and it has the most storage I’ve ever seen in a teardrop trailer. I can’t even think of a close second. When it comes to things like food and clothes, there’s really no shortage of space. And then with the oversize Tongue box I can pretty much fit all our camping gear in there. So really for us what goes into the tow vehicle may be an extra cooler, maybe some dry good storage but that’s pretty rare, and maybe some back up clothes. But when we are using the Bean for months at a time, it is very rare that I ever have to go to the tow vehicle to get anything. Essentially I keep large items like the inflatable kayak and the clam tent up in my rooftop box. Plus fishing gear. But other than that everything is in the Bean. And as for Bean versus Bean the stalker, doesn’t have any less storage than the others, it’s just not as well organized without the drawers. I hope this all makes sense. If you have more questions, just let me know. But I highly suggest getting out there and getting in a few of these trailers in person so you really understand what you’re looking at online. Once you get in a few of these trailers you’re going to see there’s pretty big differences between them. The video that comes out Thursday, now that’s when the tow vehicle becomes the closet. And I talk about it quite a bit during my pros and cons section.

It IS kind of like a glass jar! Even my son keeps talking about putting some money in the Bean fund! It’s great. Your info is definitely helpful. I have seen a Black Bean in person and got the full tour, but I think you’re right - I probably didn’t pay enough attention to the space inside because I was blown away by the extra space in the galley and all the other add-ons. I didn’t take the time to consider the cabinets and space inside. But it’s good to know that you keep almost everything inside the bean - very encouraging! Also, the galley itself can be used for more than just food. When we take time to organize it, it tends to be about 2/3rds food and 1/3 other items. That plus the upper cubby and the lower drawers gives you quite a bit of space for your daily needs.

Drew, I was thinking more about your comments and about your review of the Stalker where you were wishing for the return of pull-out drawers. Your recommendation of containers is a good one, but it also made me think of those soft, mesh packing cubes that zip up. Do you know what I’m talking about? I think those could be a great solution for storing clothes in those open containers with the mesh screens down below and the cubbies up above. Thanks again for the insight!

@erickinne5535 we actually have a whole set that we take with us everywhere. We haven’t used them in about three years. But why we haul them around with us everywhere is if we hop into another teardrop that’s smaller, they work great for not only organizing, but you can essentially remove the air in them and get your clothes to pack small. You’re absolutely right they’d be a great pairing with a Beanstalker. I will say that still does make you feel like you’re camping. We’ve been a little spoiled by the Beanstock because those drawers almost feel like you’re living in a little micro hotel. But, we live in these trailers month after month in the summer, so our needs are different than most people. I will say we got a little spoiled, and it’s kind of hard to go back. 😂 but at the same time there’s days where I’m like “I miss just a paired down budget trailer.” There’s something about feeling like you’re roughing it that really adds to the experience as well. If that makes any sense.

I love these videos, and I've watched A LOT of them, but as a novice to small trailer camping with the family, I'm still completely torn on what direction we should go. I'm really looking for something that fits in the garage but still has ample space for getting dressed. Sleeps two adults and two young kiddos. We are looking to do an EV for our next vehicle (probably a truck), so lower weight would be great for helping keep a little range. We don't plan on doing a ton of difficult terrain, but solid build quality is desired. Outdoor kitchen (side or back galley). Outdoor shower hookup. Solar options. And not absolutely necessary, but a bathroom that can be used indoors would be nice (again, young kiddos). If anyone is able to help guide me here, I would be extremely grateful!

I would take a look at the Taxa cricket and the Taxa Mantis. Another solution would be a converted cargo trailer a good place to start there is we roll trailers. I think they’ll be a number of manufactures coming to the table with new designs around the EV market. I’ve been predicting this for a few years, and I’m hearing more and more chatter about it. Two other trailers that are pretty neat. Are the Antishanty and the overkill trailer. Overkill went out of business but little guy outdoors I believe bought the design so they’ll be manufacturing it soon.

I can see how you would feel that way. I agree, it really has everything most of us would ever need. That is a good idea with the fridge. Like you, we love those drawers. The more the merrier.

Great video! I have been on the lookout for a trailer that looks very much like this. I do have a question for Drew and the community, but please don't take it as criticism of the work done by the Bean Stalker team. Instead, take it as coming from someone who is new to trailer camping, enjoys mild adventure, and has experience in new product development at medium to large corporations. So, here goes nothing! Why can't we find something priced below 20k with very similar specifications? I always apply first-principle engineering, which allows for a cost assessment. Then, you can leverage alternative technologies where critical mass has already been achieved (cost scalability), and so on. Despite doing this, I can't understand why we quickly reach price points of 30k, 40k, or even 50k for a teardrop trailer. What am I missing in my assessment (I've considered manufacturing costs as well)? Thank you for enlightening me. I'm eager to learn and join the discussion.

Sound like you have a background that might make it simple for you to understand this so here goes. The DIRECT material cost of your average Bean trailer is 50% of the sales price. That means materials alone are $15K on a $30K Bean trailer. Average industry material cost is 33%. Keep in mind, that is materials only; not labor, not overhead, etc. We are a huge aluminum manufacturer on the signage side of our business so I could switch to aluminum and plywood and save a ton of money and pass on the saving. But that would not be a Bean Trailer, would it? We get lots of comments on cost and we get it, it is expensive. We also get armchair cost accountants that think they know it can be cheaper. I have challenged all of them to come show me how without compromising the construction(one piece fiberglass shell, composite walls, off road frame, suspension, etc) premium galley and cabin materials and Bean fit and finish and so far it has been 'crickets'.

I often find myself reminiscing about those pre-covid days. When a great Bean trailer came in under $20K. At first I thought these manufacturers were just riding the wave of high small camper prices. But after traveling around the last three years and talking to everyone in the industry, these price increases came down to a number of factors. Mainly I saw supply chain issues, raising labor rates, and difficulty finding good laborors at affordable wages. Even Camp-Inn that fiercely fights to never raise prices even raised their composite Road Toad from roughly $6K to $9K in a matter of months. Now are some campers overpriced today? Absolutely. So we all need to be careful. But, to my suprise many of these high priced campers are actually priced accordingly based on the current economic climate.

How much does this thing cost?

I’d like to see a review of the Hero Ranger teardrop.

@@dm579 We have seen some really good deals on the Hero Ranger this year. I think it is a great trailer. They do use screw and glue vs what you see with Bean, but so does Taxa with their Aluminum trailers. My take is that as long as it is compoosite or metal, you don't have to worry about that water damage near as much.

Unsolicited opinion here. If it was my family I have it down to either the Hero Ranger, the Taxa Cricket, or the Tigermoth. I find the cricket really hits the sweet spot in terms of size and space. Don't count that one out if you haven't stepped in one yet.

I currently live in northern Europe, moving back to the states in November, and can tell you that the Hero Ranger had a stellar reputation over here. Of course Bean is also under consideration with the Hero Ranger and the Tigermoth. I look forward to your review.

@@PlayingwithSticks I should bite my tongue. I have a T@g XL Boondock and it would appear the Bean actually has more interior space.... watching the video I kept thinking it felt cramped... I do like the timbren suspension, wish my T@g had that... I think I also looked past the galley storage, which is different from the T@g but looks like about the same amount of space once you remove the unneeded microwave from the T@g. The Bean is a beautiful setup, and maybe there is some room to work on the price, but the difference from what I paid and the Beans MSRP.... that's a lot of money. That might be where alot of my reticence comes from

hmm, now if you could split the bed, half set as a couch, half set as a bed, while using the bunk bed as a table for eating, working, maybe even cooking in foul weather. for 2 people or even a single person it turns it into a good all weather option.

I find a Teardrop lives incredibly big for a solo traveler. Unfortunately, I haven’t modified one yet to live big for two people. They are great for sleeping in with two adults and two kids. But daytime hanging out and getting work done I haven’t quite found the fix. But, at the same time, I’ve never really pushed to come up with a solution because I’ve had such great success with using site entry tents as our outdoor living room.

I thought the idea of these bare minimum trailers was to make them accessible. The pricing puts them out of range for the average person.

I should have clarified that this trailer was aimed at people who want the high end Black Bean, but find it a bit out of their price range.

31k isn’t cheap and how much does it weigh now?

So, use the regular cooker on the tripod like you used to do. Then you don't have to mess with the fact that they didn't plumb a gas line to the back of the trailer. Same amount of work. And let's be real... it's not that difficult to get a tripod level.

I don’t think I explained it well. That cooker you were referring to costs over $400 . If you’re spending this much on a camper, you might as well get it built-in. And like I mentioned, it works better than the 400+ dollar design.

Why would you want your Discada mounted to the trailer splattering grease all over it while you cook? Especially in bear country 😮

Good question. We do a lot of crazy things. Us teardroppers have a whole kitchen setup for them outside.

Love this, however i really wish "value oriented" translated to more like 10-20k not 30k. Maybe over time they will drop it......😅

I think it may have just slipped through the cracks. I don't think partitioning would cost any extra money or time. It would be pretty simple after the first prototype. And I don't see any downfall with it. Which makes me think they just forgot. I can't think of a reason why they would ignore this request. Well, maybe one. Maybe they know I don't know what I am talking about. And their potential owners don't see the need like I see the need. Can you believe it? Not everyone in this world thinks like me! How dare they! 😂

It doesn't look like you can put 2 one-up bike racks on the storage box. Can anyone verify if you can have 2 mountain bikes on top?

That’s a good question. It looks like there’s plenty of room for a second bike. But, all the photos I’ve ever seen of two bikes on a Bean, they’re always mounted vertical.

😂 I should’ve mentioned that this was targeted at people who want the black bean, but can’t justify the price. So like you said, I wouldn’t consider this a Value trailer. I’d consider this a value oriented version of the black bean.

Hey Drew. Have you tried any of the Drifta camp kitchens? We have a Tesla and love sleeping in it with our SUV tent attached. (We were seriously thinking of getting a BEAN but we’re hesitant about towing, maintenance and being unable to stand up and change before bed in a closed room sans mosquitoes.) We are on the hunt for an efficient ergonomic kitchen. We came across this brand and wondered if you had any recommendations or suggestions. Thanks!

Yeah that crossed my mind too. For me personally a teardrop doesn’t reach its full value potential until all the goodies are added on. Naturally those trailers are 40K plus these days… but at least they have a real sink and stove. Avg 30k for this wouldn’t cut it for me. You’re already spending 30K, just spend the little bit extra to get the better equipment rather than struggle with little water tanks

Now now, you should know better, these are not toys. There are a ton of people who buy stuff like this for work. Geologists, Survey workers, small site mining crews... often need very rugged trailers that can get into and out of sites that are truly off grid. There are also people who live in these things 365... as their "only residence. and compared to 42k + land cost for a house... 32k base is value for something tough.

"struggling" with water tanks, may not be an issue... i know some that have a garden dolly. they load on 2-3 of the 5 gal cans + a 30 pound roll that across the park to re stock... moving the empties is easy, and then moving they full with the dolly is pretty simple. Course they also use it for hauling firewood back too. its all based on how you want to camp. Sure, you could spend 1.2 million for Unimog camper, water pumps, reverse osmosis filtration systems letting you drop a hose into a river or lake for refilling. Onboard sewage treatment, 4.5 mw of solar power, sat comes, sat tv, sat internet, fuel and food supplies that let you hunker down on spot for months on end... but is that camping or is that acting as a mobile command post and relay station?

Thank you Jennifer for sharing this. I always love when you come on here. I live in a trailer bubble. I eat, sleep, and drink trailer juice. Maybe I should market that “trailer juice” 😂 but lately I’ve been hanging with family members and friends, who own boats. I grew up around boats, but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen the price of a boat. Wow if you think towing a trailer is expensive, try towing a boat and don’t even get me started with the top of the line boats! Crazy!

Drew, this "share 3 things I like and 3 things I don't" thing is sounding more and more formulaic. It was much better before when you just brought up the issues (whether were only one or two, or whether there were lots more). Avoid sounding like a children's TV presenter, and just give us your over-view.

The economy. ???? Giving us pressure. ? We just received the GDP for Oct - 2023 at 4.9 % that’s is fantastic - unemployment is at the lowest its been in 50 years., Drew you are better then this . Before you scare folks understand something get out of Fox- OAN. Or hate radio where you got this misinformation . No no no the economy is going gang busters . Well this is news to me. You are absolutely right. I need to check my sources. All I hear is gas and food are at all time highs. Housing is high. Even used cars are sky high. People can’t survive…Wow, I feel embarrassed about this one. I would’ve never thought twice about this. Do you have any good suggestions for alternative news sources?
