West had booming vocals and this was one of the very best rock songs of the 70s. If you watch Frampton closely his body language and movements are just like they were in the 70s. Gotta love two "old" rockers jamming together. There is no age limit on having fun!

Yes, we are getting old. We just have to sit down and play nowdays. It's better than ever now, but nobody really shows up for the small one hour shows anymore..or even know who we are. It's ok though. We were the seeds of the rock tree. And our doctors told us to quit drinking so much. Oh well. Maybe one less bottle of Jack Daniels.

@@drmidnight680-kz2le But there certainly are some differences between a Strat and a Les Paul. There's an interview with Ed King somewhere on youtube where he talks about his Stat sound contrasting with yet complimenting the "dirty" sound of the Les Pauls played by the others in Skynyrd. Someone once told me anyone can be a rock and roll star if they just take ten minutes to learn how to play the "E" rock and roll scale really loud on a Les Paul. You can take that one for what's it worth!

Great jam on an epic tune. That said, West's introduction one of the greatest and funniest( he would have been a great stand up comic in addition to legendary guitar player) and Frampton's punchline has professionals far and wide clapping and hooting it up. Ta da.
