Leslie RS3K Parts Horn (3D Printed 48 Bell)

Ойын-сауық

Me and a friend decided to piece together an RS3K using various parts from our existing horns... We took the manifold, power chambers, and 31 bell from his RS3L, and the 37 bell from my RS5T. I was able to 3d print a working 48 bell from a set of Leslie models I found online, and here's the result. I can say for sure I was not expecting it to sound this good

I think Norfolk Southern had a lot of these in the 90s and early 2000s. And I'm pretty sure they still do. I would always hear these as a kid in the 90s, did Nathan airtime came out with the sandcast K3L that almost plays the same triad.

Might be thinking of BN they were the main user of the RS3K. NS never really had them, but they did have a lot of RS3Ls

Sounds fantastic! Any chance we’ll get some static recordings? I’d love to have this horn for Run8
