I’ve watched these episodes from the beginning (shamelessly, multiple times each 🤷🏽‍♀️) and it truly is the best, most realistic and representative series in how it depicts US. Its not exaggerated and overly sexualized, and it stayed true to the story. I didn’t have to keep up with 10 different storylines in an inter-webbed character matrix. Just my opinion...I think that showing Brit hit rock bottom and having her seek therapy was important to see because we often times cant admit that we are out of control and definitely don’t get professional help to align us. I even liked seeing Brit reach out to her mom. We were all rooting for Mina and Brit to reconcile and I even got butterflies watching them sit on the couch again (these days, not many shows resonate with me like that 😁🥰) I am beyond proud and please with this storytelling and will be a supporter of future projects! Again, thanks to Kimberly, cast and crew for their efforts ❤️

Watching all eight and i feel like this is one of the best it is well script and played out speechless. Kimberly the cast members and the once who help put it together you'll done and amazing job

I can easily say that this is my favorite lesbian webseries. The storyline is well-written and deep and we can relate to it. Everybody has done a wonderful job but the DP is dope, love the shots. Also, the music is always on point! Let's not forget the two formidable actresses! (huge crush on Alexa 🖤) I truly hope there will be a season 2!

I honestly fell in love with this series. The storyline, the friendships, the ups and downs, the circle of life to the music. It just makes you feel good but yet gives you the feeling of the moment at the same time. I can't wait for season 2. Congratulations everyone 💕💕💕💕

You addressed so many real situations and misconceptions in such a mature manor. The therapy piece was beyond on target. In the black community, black women don’t go to therapy as often as we should (when we need it) Brits self talk in the mirror- on point. Way to go Brit in being consistent in fighting for the friendship and Mina for giving her a chance.

I’m so happy the friendship is back.

I NEED another season, another show, SOMETHING!!! I love you both!!!!!!

Please I beg you to make season two!!!!! There are many lesbian web series on KZread, however nothing I’ve watched come close to how real and meaningful this is for many of us who identify as Afro Caribbean, afro-American etc. etc. You were on point! Again thanks 🙏🏾 so much!!!!

Great season finale! I love how this show told the story of what people at times go through when coming out. Depression,rejection from family, and using substances as a coping mechanism. Also it was great to showcass the importance of therapy which is always seem as a negative with the black community. The story of Mina and Brit's love really portrays how at times you can forgive and possibly rebuild with someone. I absolutely LLLOOVVVEEEDDD the girls night out scene. Seeing different shades of black women with natural hair and gay was the best! It made me wish I had a group of friends like that in my life. Timeout though has anyone else notice that Mina stayed with a cutie in her bed lol?

First of all, I can’t believe it’s been a year since this series began. Time moves so fast. Anyway, I’m so glad they reconciled and Brit’s getting the help she needs. Mina could benefit from some therapy too tho cause she’s highkey controlling and doesn’t cope with things healthily either. Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication to this series! You’re beautiful and a great writer, Kim and happy belated birthday! Alexa, you need to be on somebody’s big screen. You’re such a great actress; I feel like I know Brit personally. I have to generally agree with you 💯%. Me being mostly a 'Sci-fi' type of person; yet, this is the best episodic - series type film that I've ever seen since the 'Matrix' & 'Predator'. Great, positive effort by all: Kimberly Monique Twiggs, Alexa Morgan Williams, Dionna Diane, iTiMiNak Production Cast, Crew and/or Staff.

when Britt was talking with herself in the bathroom, eye definitely related to that and felt that she was starting her journey to healing and working on her efforts towards what she wanted to make better growth is an uncomfortable process ⚡️ especially when it comes to reconciling with people you love, you do have to put thee effort in and do the inner work on you first and then extend yourself in building with thee other again, thank you for this lesbian series. it’s definitely relatable and eye feel like it’s in the right direction towards real life experiences and not thee over sexualised films that society always seems to project out about queer folks lives...it’s not necessarily always TRUTH it’s simply this made up fantasy. we need better queer films, especially indigenous films such as this, and y’all definitely captured it, so thank yous. eye look 444ward to viewing more from this production 🌻🎆💫

o i did not want to 4get to mention dame played by darryl... his presence, long dreds, aura & speech was so refreshing to feel & see...his largeness & decency compared to britt's petiteness, confusion, yet passion was another welcomed newness... i tend toward independent films cuz they tend to be void of cliche', hollowwoodish formulas & a shallowness that does not provoke or inspire the courage to take risks...loved dame's character...

The music is always on point! But, it was extra cool tonite.

Siiiiighhhh....Soooooo, I’ve watched and RE-watched ALL these eps (especially this ep, and #’s 1 & 4), and I just gotta express how very pleased I am with tha representation of us! This is so, so, so BEAUTIFULLY constructed, this storyline, from beginning to this ep here. I mean, from tha PERFECT song for these pivotal scenes (have NOT stopped listening to Mac Ayers’ “Show Me” since last week-deadass), to all tha beautiful nuance. SO relatable , tha awkward/nervous laughing, when Brit kinda leaned in for a hug and Mina wasn’t feelin’ it and so, didn’t respond when they met in tha park lot to reunite for movie night. And tha whole movie night scene was nuanced to f-ing perfection, seriously. I’m just so pleased with this series, as it shows REAL circumstances that do not follow suit with all them other ghetto ass web series’ we’ve become accustomed to, with HORRIBLE acting and poorly constructed storylines. I realize that ppl create/manifest what they’ve ingested mentally, spiritually and emotionally cuz we products of our various environments. I get that. Im just very, very happy that you seem to be as evolved as this series reflects, in comparison. It’s quite different I’m I’m SO, SO here for it. I mean, my goodness! This is really perfect. Please keep shining sis. Ok, my dissertation is done. I just had to get that out. ✌🏾

Definitely an aesthetically pleasing web series, great job! I constantly was a little thrown off by mena’s behavior towards britt as if they hadn't been friends for all those years... She went from homie to irritated entitled brat, like if your best friend is discovering she's queer and in love with you, why are you attitudinal and pushy?! As her friend shouldn't you be a little more understanding, it's not like she's some random off the street coming in your life with all her baggage! All in all this was executed well, beautiful brown queer women, loved Britt especially! 🥰

Santana Hyde At first I was annoyed with the way they had her react as well but then I understood. It’s not that she didn’t have love for Brit. It’s that Brit was genuinely a mess all round. She needed to kind of get back on her feet on her own and handle her shit. Therapy played a big role. Black people don’t like the therapy option or discussion but it’s very necessary a lot of the times. Besides it also showed us that even though Mina was doing her own thing, she was always still waiting for Brit to fix her shit. She even wanted her to call a lot sooner. So yeah. Her feelings are valid.

You guys did a fantastic job, one of the best web series I've watched in a long time. Can't wait to see what's to come, congratulations everyone! Happy belated birthday Ms. Kimberly
