I married my beautiful wife in 1999 and this was our dance song. We were lucky enough to have our honeymoon in Paris. Very special song for me.

I first heard this back in 1995 and it will always be my favorite version. ❤

When I was 18 I first heard this beautiful song. My aunt had this soundtrack and I played this song over n over :) that was in the late 90’s for me. Wow. Still remember like it was yesterday...sigh

Some songs sound so much better in French.

French is so romantic. Not to mention it's the absolute a sensual and wonderful language. Love the french version of this song. Ahh, Je l'aime !

+alex dornelli I can totally relate. I'm not trying to "one-up" you here as I am from the North Side of Williamsburg and spent a lot of time in Greenpoint (lots of relatives). I spent 3 years in Paris while in the U.S. Air Force in the early 60's and this was a song on a jukebox in a little café on the Left Bank. It too was a beautiful rendition and I danced to it many times with women I cared for. Brings back great memories.

This lady's singing style is incredible! So rich and relaxing, and just luxurious to listen to.

Our aerobics instructor used this as the music as we were stretching following our class this morning. I had never heard this version before. Beautiful!!

just a simple Master Piece of music = A+

My favorite love song and i like the English version of Mama Cass; french has something more to it. Then, Elton's, "Your Song". Both make me cry in a good way. To be loved like that again, or every the way he asks her to dance to it. This is a favorite movie that never gets old. Just funnier with age and a different perspective.

A beautiful version. I heard this first played in the movie and loved it then. The French lyrics are not the same as the original words, but that's what makes it so special.

I'm not a big fan of the French but I must admit this is incredible. I like "Dream A Little A Dream Of Me", but this is better. It's both well sung and well written. My french isn't great, but I get it well enough. It's beautiful both in french and english. It's one of those few songs that translates well between languages. On the other hand, a song like "La Mer" doesn't translate as well.

Always loved this soundtrack, used to own the CD. However lately on KZread my playlists, EVEN FULL ALBUMS, do NOT play all the songs anymore for about a year. It will play the first then possibly the second song on a playlist and then go off into whatever it wants EVEN THOUGH I PRESS “PLAY ALL”
