In Lau's Step X Step musicality interview, there was a part were he was asking the interviewer if he was hearing a specific background sound in the music. He kept trying to point it out and the interviewer (or me) couldn't hear it, the sound was so subtle... Then Lau said, "Don't worry if you can't hear it, I can make you FEEL IT," and proceeded to highlight that sound through his dance.... AND THEN I HEARD IT. It's often the case when Lau or Larry dance that I'll catch sound or melody only because they highlight it w/ their musicality through dance. They've actually made me listen to music differently, more intensely, because of that. Just another thing I love about them.

I absolutely agree! I listen to EVERY type of music differently now. I never listened to hip hop or rap or French rap prior to watching the twins. For the past five years, I have learned to not only appreciate these genres of music but to love them as well. This is definitely attributable to Larry and Lau “teaching” me how to hear/feel music differently. I will appreciate them forever for that. 💕

You know I find that my ears naturallyfocus on the normal beat. When I focus on the beats they dance too it often seemed wrong, because it's strange to my hearing and my mind. And on top of that they don't stay on that beat. They switch to the other beats constantly and effortlessly that I have to catch up and only realize later on that they're on a different sound now. Pound really helped me to catch this

Hey SP, it took me a while to get around to commenting on this song - had to literally pull up the lyrics and print them off - to fully follow Larry's interpretation of the song. Dude I feel u on this one....I've never heard the song before. So when Larry danced to it ..I saw it vividly as day n I didn't need to see the video, he expressed it all thru his musicality I heard every word.....and yes again one of my favorites by Larry n great reaction as always....oh n btw there is a video out when he does Kendrick Lamar's part u can see him from the front but I personally liked this footage better lol
