Exactly many dancers know they are not going to win before they start but it Is not about winning every time. It is a chance just to say you went up against them. They do it for the thrill and the memory. I noticed the same thing about that dude it looked like it was a dare for him to be there in the first place. He was just too happy to be there with them. That was a like a dream come true for him lol. so cute.

They're musicality and synergy is off the hook! It blows my mind ...

its the little subtle movements that make them great. like 7:39 when he moves his jaw with the music. very few people notice that consciously but subconsciously everyone picks it up and it just adds that much more to the performance
