Via @icirctele 🎥 #EnglishSubtitles ➡️Despite the bad weather, the duo, dancers Laurent and Larry Bourgeois came to talk about mental health to young people and also to reduce the stigma surrounding the subject. They presented themselves as part of a tour they recently started in schools. The two of them take advantage of these meetings to praise the merits of body expression and the benefits of dance on the body and mind. To this end, @officiallestwins have partnered with @kidswritenetwork , an initiative based on research at McGill University that combines positive psychology and neuroscience to help young people cope with trauma and negative experiences while developing trust and resilience. #Bravo @lestwinsoff @lestwinson

The healing that is going on between them and the children is so monumental!!! I love what the young student said about never leaving a feeling that you have in your body without sharing it with someone. The awareness of feelings, that the Twins shed light on, is so important for children to hear so they can feel better about themselves and learn how to work through them.🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🧡🧡🤴🏾🤴🏾
What LesTwins are doing is to be commendable. Children, especially this younger generation needs to learn how to deal with all the many emotions that will indeed come their way. And unlike a lot of us who grew up not knowing and understanding how to deal and live with those emotions left us scarred, with un necessary baggage, and it also left us unable to give or bring our all to the table. Dance is art, and art is life, so it’s a win win situation, and to understand that is PRICELESS.
