Lau has suffered many injuries thanks to his dance style. He was the one in the wheelchair in WOD '17... I know this video says he dances to calm/chill songs compared to his brother and that's true, but he also dances to hype songs. I think the better distinction is that Lau is more off the wall, weirder, alternative than Larry. Lau has multiple personalities when it comes to dance - one minute he's wild, the next he's tapping into his feminine side, the next he's technical. Whatever he's feeling that moment, you're gonna see it when he dances. Larry is very consistent. Larry is precision. Larry breaks the beat down. Larry is hip hop.

I remember watching some bts during WOD '17 when Lau got injured and though Lau was the one bandaged up and who couldn't walk I felt more sorry for Larry because his normal lighthearted, fun, loud personality was now completely low and pathetic. Lau was putting on a brave face but Larry was just so down, as though he felt the pain more than his brother. Their bond as twins is so fascinating and quite trippy at times to watch.

I've gotten pretty good at telling them apart now: Larry normally is thinner than Laurent; Lau hair is lighter color; Lau likes to do moves on the floor more so than Larry; Lau hair is longer than Larry's Larry teases Lau more; Lau is way more affectionate than Larry; Larry has a BOP when he walks (swag); they both like to wear the pants backwards (especially Lau); Larry's 2 front teeth hang down a lil Lau's are straight; Larry is very sarcastic and Lau is more gentle; Laurent tends to encourage Larry more so than Larry when they are performing; Lau likes to eat more than Larry ( especially fruits and sweets)......that's all I can think of for now. I love them both and the are equally great dancers. 😍

It will get easier to tell them apart the more you watch them their styles and personality will definitely make you see the difference

When it comes to dance tho, you gotta feel them. Larry makes you shout and hold to your seat, he shooks you. Laurent makes you silent, speechless. Both mesmerizing. The thing is, sometimes they switch and Lau's dance will make you scream and Larry's shut you up 😅Not easy so like I said you just have to see them as two distinct people.

Larry often dances standing on his left foot, or spinning on his left foot, etc. Laurent is the touchy-feeling one, often touching Larry's back, etc.

Lol,don't worry about it, you will get it ,these two are a trip ,Larry is always wearing a hat especially a bucket hat, Lau wears his hair twists, he's also the one with the crazy death drop and ankle spins that put his ass in a wheelchair !

Over time, I have noticed differences. Lau is thinner, smidge taller and has slightly less washboard abdomen. He also likes to correct his younger brother. To me he seems to always have something going on behind those eyes. Yes baby's got back! Am I a fan? Les Twins forever.

Yes Laurent is the one that has had more knee and ankle injuries do to all his spinning moves and etc

Thanks for reacting ! To be honest the "Larry on the left of the stage and Lau on the right" is more of a observation than a fact. We noticed that Larry is MOST OF THE TIME on the left on stage but it's not an obligation. As for their looks, these are details that can help you tell them apart like Larry’s right arm is covered in tattoos and for Laurent it’s his left arm or the necklace indeed. But overall it’s very hard to pin point the differences these two have, you just have to see them as two different people, it will come with time. I’m honestly more surprise when they actually look like each other cause they’re so different to me but that’s only cause I’m so familiar with them that I almost « « forget » » they’re identical twins in a way 😂

You were so cute doing this reaction, taking notes and everything. I guess you should just use the necklace to help you detect who is who for now. Eventually, it will get really easy but here's a challenge; While this video points out some common tips - remember, they are Les Twins so they can switch it up on you. Larry can mesmerize you on a slow song like "Avenue" H.E.R. or "My Mind by Yebba and Lau will murder any hip/hop/rock/afro beat, etc., etc. - there really isn't any limitations on them. Keep it coming -- this reaction was really fun!!

Not really because there have been times when Laurent has on Larry's black necklace. They wear each other's shit. Like any twins they like to trick or confuse people. That's a typical trait of twins no matter their ages.

These dudes are already legendary. They a modern fay version of the Nicholas brothers.

If they have short sleeves on, Larry has a full tattoo sleeve (same tattoo sleeve as Lau) on his right arm and a dagger tattoo on the left forearm. Laurent has a full tattoo sleeve (same tattoo sleeve as Larry) on his left arm and a dagger tattoo on his right forearm. Larry wears a black bead necklace and Laurent wears a gold chain sometimes 2 with a cross pendant, he used to wear a black and white bead necklace before it broke. Laurent hair is lighter (brown tint) than Larry's hair (dark brown to natural black tint) out in the sun or under bright lights

This is August, 2022. I know you know them now, but just to add, it took me some time to be able to tell them apart. Now that I can, I can tell them from behind, by their walk, and facially they do not look so alike. AND, I know that they are identical, if that makes any sense? LOL, lol, lol. They are cute as pie - AND, I am going with the MIB wardrobe person who has a more recent and accurate measurement of them than the very old Google measurement. MIB people said that they both measured at 6'5". This video makes more sense to me now that I can tell them apart. Like you SP, it confused me too when I could not tell them apart.

Laurent always has his hair braided must of the time

A few years ago, Laurent almost all the time wore his famous blue pants, and tore them just as often when performing and doing splits, this pants was patched multiple times and he wore them again😆 Many their viral performances was with that pants, it's part of history 😉

Another top tip from what I've observed - - I'm pretty sure Larry always clips his hat on his right hip, Lau on his left (under their respective full sleeves)! Someone pls correct me if I'm mistaken! 👀👧🏽

Lau likes the floor more, lol. Larr does more hand movements, crumping, & thrusting, lol. Lau dresses more modernly. Larr likes a lot of black. When Larry pulls his hat down he's about to snap. Larry usually stands to the left of Laurent & dances first. They're super duper supportive of each other, but Lau is usually standing directly behind Larry when he dances while Larry is more on the sidelines but very loud like a proud parent. Larry's favorite person in the world is Momma Bee. Lau's favorite person is obviously Larry. Laurent gets teased a lot about it & is compared to a daunting wife. Meanwhile he's also more affectionate but Larry doesn't play about Lau either. Larry is more gangsta & will fight an 80 yr old woman over his brother is he has too. 😂

U can listen to music and you can hear music but if you wanna see it watch them it flows through them drips off them into a puddle on the floor Larry stomps it and Laurent wrestles it and swims in it on the floor until they kill it ….

At first it was hard for me to recognise them, but after much watching of them.. I can tell by their tattoo, and their dancing signature. By their dance I can tell who is who. But I love them both.

It was his knee when they won WOD 2017 J-LO, Neo & Mark! 1 of Laurent’s performance’s was him in a wheelchair! It. Was touching & beautiful! 😜🎶👟🎶👟🎶😜

The blue pants only works for the really old videos and since they look a lot alike back then the pants could help if you just don’t know.

Larry has two bunny teeth, whereas Laurent’s two front teeth are even. Larry also have an oval shape hairline whereas Laurent’s is box hairline. Larry’s nose is wider than Laurent’s. Just a few that I use to recognize them, because sometimes they trick us and change up. Hope it helps❤

In their newer videos the signature moves have slowed down a lot they don’t use them much anymore. But in older videos or just videos in general it will help

This was so good to watch. Your reaction to how to tell the difference was pretty cool. It took me a bit before I could tell. Yes the left and right side tattoos, the hair, their moves which gives it away, and of course the necklace Larry wears daily. But for me, deeply look at their faces. You will work it out.

I've watched them so much they look nothing alike to me now lol laurent has a higher bridged nose, Larry's nose is a bit wider. Laurent is more slender than Larry, Larry's hair is lighter, Laurent's eyelid hoods droop a little more than Larry's, Larry has wider eye and mouth expressions .. then they speak laurent has a deeper tone than Larry, Laurent's face bones are more prominent

I have a huge crush on Laurent so ofc I know who is who 💀

Larry just posted a IG story saying he looks too much like Laurent today. These guys no longer look exactly alike to me.

I really have NO problem telling them apart but Larry was so right - He does look like Lau in that IG Story. They both can look alike when they WANT TO and they know it. That's so crazy to me. Can you imagine being yourself but at any given time you can fool the world into thinking you are someone else? That's the Twins.
