Les Miserables Logo Time Lapse

Ойын-сауық

First, I want to credit the music to Teddie Films, which created one of the most inspiring parodies I've ever had the pleasure of watching. See their video here and be sure to buy the track: www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3fjFt...
Second, this video has special features. Woot, yo: • Les Miz Logo Special F...
Third: the images can be found on my DA page: moundfreek.deviantart.com/
This idea, to redraw the original Les Miserables logo with different characters was my sister's. She drew it most recently with Eponine here: sarenea.deviantart.com/art/Epo... and most distantly here: sarenea.deviantart.com/art/Epo...
Having finished off the Spring semester and having nothing to fill my afternoons, I decided to do a reboot with Anne Hathaway as Fantine. And so I did. Only upon completion did I muster the energy for a time lapse, and committed to 5 other characters.
Each drawing took around 3-4 hours, give or take. They are inked in Fabre-Castel or Prisma Color pen. See details for each illustration below. Some of them kinda suck. Some of them suck less. You be the judge!! Together, including the video assemblage, it took about 30 hours. AHHH!!!

-The second drawing. Hugh Jackman is the model. This is actually my least favorite. Honestly, doesn't it look a little like Barack Obama? I'm sorry, Hugh, I can't seem to do you justice!

-The first drawing. Anne Hathaway is the model. This was my time to be experimental. Astoundingly, I sort of like how it came out (don't worry, I'm sure to find everything wrong with it over the next few days, haha)

-The third drawing. Model is Amanda Seyfried. I'll admit to liking this one, too (again, for the moment).
Marius. Photo source: dag nabbit, I can't find it. But I'm pretty sure it was from this shoot: s3.amazonaws.com/kidzworld_pho... He looks younger in these photos, but the shadows were stark--great for this type of artwork.
-Drawing 4. Model is Eddie Redmayne. I like this one, too, though the clothing got a little sloppy. There are two things I don't do: clothing and scenery. I think I was satisfied with the face and wanted to move on as quickly as possible for I messed something up! Ironic, eh?

-The 5th drawing I made. Model is Samantha Barks. I think I was starting to get a little burned out at this point (poor Sam!!). I......really don't like this one. I can barely tell who it is. I was on the verge of not including it in the lapse, but alas, I needed it to fill 45 seconds in the sequence (and I filmed the whole thing anyway). The eyes are a bit off, don't you think? I should know by now to NEVER color in eyes until 100% certain they match, otherwise the whole piece is thrown off. I made the mistake of choosing a photo without great shadows. I referred to a second photo, but seeing as the two weren't exactly the same, they couldn't be molded together easily (and you must be precise if you want to get the contours of the face down). I made the same mistake in choosing the Valjean photo. Third time's the charm-hopefully I won't make the same mistake with Enjolras.

-Drawing 6, the last!! SO TIRED!! Model is Aaron Tveit. I guess I'm okay with this one.
