In Addis Ababa, there are more than 4 million trips per day, including those made on foot. In the megacity of Kinshasa, with its vast agglomeration of more than 17 million inhabitants, more than 5.5 million trips per day are made. Today, nearly one African out of two lives in a city, and that is as many people who must travel every day. In this environment, mobility will have to deal with major construction sites, low road density and increasing distances to travel. So how can Africa succeed in ensuring sustainable mobility for its cities and metropolises? This is what we will try to understand through this podcast.
