Cela n'est pas possible car c'était pas les enfants dans ce film qui chantaient réellement, mais une chorale professionnelle. Seul Jean-Baptiste Maunier chantait réellement (ses solos).

Ouais sauf que le français et l’espagnol ça se ressemble parce que les deux sont des langues latines mais pas l’anglais je le sais je parle anglais français espagnol et le français a plein d’exception et de majeur différence avec l’anglais

I learned french in school but forgot so much, because i don't use it that much. Today i have seen this movie and decided to learn this beautiful language again. Greetings from a german.

This little boy has a voice of an angel

This film is so melancholic. My parents always say that it reminds them of their childhood, and the childhood of my grandparents, children that lived throw the worst times of Europe, the times of wars and so many orphan, poor and foodless children. This was the reality of many children. It doesn't matter which european country you come from, I think this feeling is common among us. We should be very proud of what we achieved and the Europe we've created. New generations must be grateful for their sacrifice and the life full of rights, freedom and comforts they built for us.

I love and absolutely adore this movie since I’m 9 years old. It was the first movie that made me cry and I connected so many good memories with it. I sadly don’t speak a lot of French, but the songs just touch your soul, even when you can’t understand everything they’re singing.

We watched this in a french lesson and I literally started crying but this movie is beautiful

My late Father bought me this film several years ago; one of the best presents I've ever had.

I cannot even express the amount of love I feel for this movie! Makes me feel nostalgic

my french teacher recommended me this movie, and I'm not regretting watching it, this is so beautiful

i remember the first ever time that i watched the movie... end of the year music lessons with my music teacher Saulo. we had nothing more to study, so he showed this movie to us. i absolutely fell in love with this scene, how powerful it is, and before it i was nights without sleeping. it’s because the week before it, i got a new dog, and before it, i had another one that died of a tumor in her leg... one month before her 10th birthday... i cried for days, because of how much the new one remembered me about the night that she died, and the thought about another one dying haunted me for days... but when i saw this scene... i finally was at peace. thanks, and happy birthday, Saulo Rivera🥲

Ce film est un chef d'œuvre, les choristes tout d'abord, mais surtout l'incroyable talent d'acteur de Mr Jugnot. Des "bronzes" aux Choristes, en passant par Mr Batignolles, la plage est grande, mais l'homme lui est toujours a 100/100 au top. De plus il fait partie de ces acteurs qui n'ont fait que de se bonifier avec les années, comme Mr Villeret, Mr Serrault, Mr Depardieu..... Chapeau bas les artistes....

I found this movie several years ago on a now defunct channel-Netflix. This is one of my favorite movies ever for the ending scenes. When the bus pulls away, stops, and the rest happens, it's nothing but tears on this end. hugs

J'ai 8 ans je suis en pension au printemps précédent ma maman est parti pour toujours je suis en pension c'est la veille de Noel nous sommes 5 ou 6 gamins qui ne sont pas parti pour Noel, dans le dortoir un sapin quelques bougies j'ai dans la main une orange et 2 crottes en chocolat et j'entends ce chant et je ne peux me retenir ..... Je pleure inconsolable .... c'était il y a 63 ans et depuis ce jour le ne peux écouter ce chant sans pleurer, le temps n'a rien effacé au contraire, mes enfants mes petits enfants rien n'y a fait , au contraire c'est gravé en moi, un jour je partirai accompagné par cette mélodie c'est mon vœu......

I watched this in school in my teens and though I understand no french it has to be one of my fave films and soundtracks. its not something I listen to everyday, but I revisit it often.

Ce samedi aux masters de feu de compiegne j'ai vu un Gérard jugnot (président de l'événement) avec une larme à l'œil et des étoiles plein les yeux lorsque durant le feu de clôture l'une des musiques des choristes à été utilisée... Bravo monsieur pour ce que vous êtes !!

There are some extraordinary Hollywood movies. I am an absolute fan of "Casablanca" or "Vertigo" and so many others. But it's true European cinema, French, Italian, Russian, German, Czech, Hungarian and from many other countries should be known better. As for this film, Mr. Jugnot is really a wonderful actor. And the kids are amazing. A wonderful movie for sure!

I was also an extremely shy child...with a very beautiful voice. My parents didn't know what to make out of it, and although I was always asked to overcome my shyness and sing when family friends were there, I never got the opportunity to sing in a choir, and to find other boys to sing with, which is so good for a child with communication problems....and who do not naturally communicate well. Singing in Grammar School are, if I rember correctly, the only times I felt happy inside, and welcome in a group....
