My grandparents were givers I enjoyed their good nature years after my grandpa died I went job hunting The officer asked (when he saw my surname) if I knew a Mr O... I said he was my grandpa He said my grandpa helped his family when he was young Because of grandpa's act of kindness many years before I was born I got the job!!

God is using you Les . This message is shaking the heavens. Through Gods help i have founded an organisation here in Zimbabwe were Christians come together to network and do various projects for the Glory of God.

This is exactly why instead of donating to charity, I divide all of the money I would give to charity and give it to my employees. They are making the effort to show up everyday with a positive attitude.

I definitely believe that when you are giving, you are also giving to self. I call it that innocent selfishness, which nothing is wrong with. There is nothing wrong with feeling the good feeling from helping some one out or feeling enriched and empowered through giving of yourself. More people should do the same to make this world a better place

This is so true , this might sound dumb but ive noticed whenever i give money to a homeless person or something ,it comes right back to me somehow like even more ....its crazy.....like this one day i bought a man a subaway sandwich with chips and a water (which i had never done before)and then like 3 days later i got a raise at work out of nowhere! Ive had so many other experiences like that! Like finding $20 on the floor or winning $50 in alotery ticket.....like if you give from your heart it will come back to you....

Yes! A lot of people deny their pursuit of purpose because they feel guilty about having a "selfish" motivation. But like you said, there's nothing wrong with wanting to receive something in return for your investment. The truth is, everything has a "selfish" root, whether it's financial, emotional, spiritual, etc. The key is understanding that there's only so much we can get on our own, and in order to get more, we have to share more of our time and resources.

Give of yourself, and out of yourself without expectations. Give out of heart and not out of mind. The mindset of selfishness or altruism are both mistakes.

I always look forward to giving to my church. Giving helps to free your mind. It doesn't matter what the economy or employers do. You decide how much you give. You have the power to give. It's all up to you to decide. It seems strange, but the more you give the more you have. That's what happens to me.
