J'ai essayé la recette hier et c'est vraiment bon, moelleux à l'intérieur. Un petit plus: j'ai ajouté de la cannelle et du safran dans le sirop. Merci beaucoup pour cette recette 👍🏽

RASGOOLAH - CHEF ZUL Ingredients: 125g Flour 240g Milk Powder 1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 2 tablespoon Margarine or Butter 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom powder Oil for frying Water For the Syrup: 1000ml Water 500g Sugar 4-5 Cardamom pieces In a saucepan put the syrup and once it starts to boil. Remove from heat and let it cool down by transfering it to another cold recipient. Prepare the dough by mixing the flour, milk powder, bicarbonate, baking powder and cardamom powder first. Then add the butter or margarine and mix well until it becomes a crumble mixture. Gradually add water to make it a dough but careful not to add too much water or the dough will become too liquid. Let the dough rest for 5 mins. Wash your hands and rub them with flour or butter and make small balls out of the dough. At the same time heat oil on low flame, and fry the balls until golden brown. If you use high flame your balls will not fry but instead they will burn. Once the balls are fried you can transfer them to the syrup and let them soak for 4 hours atleast..

I tried this. Came out perfect, very yummy, very spongy till the core and not overly sweet. Just as i like it. 👌 thanks for this recipe chef. Finally a rasgulla recipe that came out great!

P. S: i used 400g sugar in 1L water for it not to be overly sweet. Let the syrup thicken a little (but still watery),instead of just bringing to a boil. Add drops of rose water for an xtra treat.

Pas facile de mentionner l'eau car il faut avoir une consistance comme il l'a montré, mais c'est vrai qu'il aurait pu le dire, mais il a dit tigit par tigit. En tout cas merci pour les astuces chef.🙏 ça paraît facile mais pas tant que ça.

It's not rasgulla it's gulab jamun cha-cha . Rasgulla is steamed or boiled and is white in colour . It's gulab jamun..

Here in Mauritius we call it rasgulla. Gulab jamun is another treat and the recipe is not quite the same. The soaking time is shorter as well

RASGOOLAH Ingredients: 125g Flour 240g Milk Powder 1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 2 tablespoon Margarine or Butter 1/4 teaspoon Cardamom powder Oil for frying Water For the Syrup: 1000ml Water 500g Sugar 4-5 Cardamom pieces In a saucepan put the syrup and once it starts to boil. Remove from heat and let it cool down by transfering it to another cold recipient. Prepare the dough by mixing the flour, milk powder, bicarbonate, baking powder and cardamom powder first. Then add the butter or margarine and mix well until it becomes a crumble mixture. Gradually add water to make it a dough but careful not to add too much water or the dough will become too liquid. Let the dough rest for 5 mins. Wash your hands and rub them with flour or butter and make small balls out of the dough. At the same time heat oil on low flame, and fry the balls until golden brown. If you use high flame your balls will not fry but instead they will burn. Once the balls are fried you can transfer them to the syrup and let them soak for 4 hours atleast..

Pas facile de mentionner l'eau car il faut avoir une consistance comme il l'a montré, mais c'est vrai qu'il aurait pu le dire, mais il a dit tigit par tigit. En tout cas merci pour les astuces chef.🙏 ça paraît facile mais pas tant que ça.

It's not rasgulla it's gulab jamun cha-cha . Rasgulla is steamed or boiled and is white in colour . It's gulab jamun..

We call it rasgulla in Mauritius, gulab jamun is another treat we make and the recipe is not quite the same. Recipes vary depending on countries

Here in Mauritius we call it rasgulla. Gulab jamun is another treat and the recipe is not quite the same. The soaking time is shorter as well
