Fabiola is so charming.

For all those concerned about the French. I am certain she is speaking French here as Queen Paola does not understand Dutch. Additionally, Marie-Astrid is at the table, and I'm not certain if she speaks Dutch. So, it was more natural to speak French, which everyone understood. However, Queen Fabiola was fluent in many languages, among them are Spanish, French, English, Italian, German and Dutch.

Queen Paolo speaks Dutch although not very well but she understands it better than she speaks it.

The Queen was speaking Flemish (Dutch) as well as French in her birthday speech.

nauort23 The queen spoke French fluently, but she didn't speak Dutch well. The royal family in general speaks French better than Dutch. This has been a bone of contention among the Flemish with the royals.

That is not so at all. Queen Fabiola spoke excellent Dutch - fluent. It is Queen Paola who could absolutely not speak Dutch.

I think the subtitles are because the sound is not very good.

Is nu wél of niet bij Opus dei?? Est ce que elle est oui ou non avec opus dei? Is she or isnt she with opus dei??

Does she only know how to speak french only?

I don't know why you are repeatedly asking these silly questions. For your information, Queen Fabiola spoke Spanish, English, French, Dutch, German and Italian. Is that enough for you? How many languages do you speak?

She can't speak dutch?everytime i heard she only speak french
