That’s bc ppl like broken characters. They tierwhore, instead of being true character loyalist chads. If u play Leroy since release and u still play him now, u sir are a true chad. I think Kazumi got hit way too hard imo, compared to Leroy.

Leroy's mixups are killer. Three things make him very impressive 1. Well rounded movesets 2. Parries that makes him doesn't care about being in minus frame 3. Hermit stance mixups It was really scary when I found out his hermit can automatic parry lows and gives him 16f advantage

At this point of the game i would rather play against a Leroy than a Feng.

Leroy has always been fun, except before it was a one sided fun. Now both side can have fun.

I hope leroy returns in tekken 8. I think the interaction between him and wang jinrei would be awesome..that's a big IF wang comes back though.

It depends, because for some people don't like getting wins that they feel were undeserved, it's that feeling when you play an overly broken character that you don't feel like everything you did was of your own effort/struggle kind of thing. Not saying that Leroy is bad now though (I'm well aware he's still very good), he's just a tiny bit worse than before which makes that effort/satisfaction factor balance out if that makes sense. Not a common misconception but a subjective reason for some people.

Leroy has always been fun and I think he is in an ok spot now. However I do hope that they get rid of his easy mode b2 parry and give him more DOA/Virtua fighter style sabaki's like his db1+2 to balance out the risk and reward. A parry specifically for highs, for mids, and for lows that rewards good reads but has the risk of putting you in a bad situation if you time it wrong or if you're predictable. Each with their own unique animations. They don't have to go as far as giving a unique animation for eat possible catch like in VF (left hand, left elbow, left knee, left leg, jump attack etc) but just the three would be a great start.

I find Leroy to be one of the rarest matchups online. I played quite a lot this year and I believe I haven't seen him once in ranked/quick match.

Leroy should be in T8 but his parry’s should be quarter circle or half circle inputs and he should have a traditional wing chun outfit, no bling or chunky shoes, classic Kung fu slippers

I would play him if he wouldn't have a move for every situation like Feng and many others who are boring and without identity.

He's not fun, he's the same character he's always been since his release. Boring, all rounded, super easy, completely uninteresting The only difference is that he's significantly weaker now.
