And it fits perfectly in the album, after Disposable Heroes, it’s kind of hard to follow up with that, so they made a groovier turn in the album, like a proto-TTSNB, or Sad but True, and after the song ends, Orion is next, and you look forward to every song on the B side.

Thank you so much for posting this. Has to be one of the best Metallica songs to learn on guitar. Such a fun piece of music.

The infamous 'Kill Bon Jovi' guitar. It's shown up in the studio recently (he's playing it in some of the Hardwired making of stuff), but he only used it for The Thing that Should Not Be live from 86-87.

James is a great at multi tracking guitars, plays like a machine. I prefer less overdubs personally because it over powers everything making the guitars sound to think and unrealistic while drowning out the bass. But it does sound massive!

This was my first time ever quad tracking, it was a challenge! I’m still happy with the sound!

Mason Vee on YT has the tones you’re looking for! Only thing is that I recommend turning down the gain, just in case you plan on recording. That way it doesn’t sound oversaturated

@@Toxicband89oddly enough, I just record through my phone. I recently picked up a Shure SM57, so I’ll start using that, but this was just through my phone. Placed the mic up to the speaker and hit record. The nice thing about the Boss Katana Head, is that it has a direct MIDI plug, that way you can plug straight into an Audio Interface.
