In our 1st episode e enjoyed some local sightseeing in Rinchenpong, Sikkim.
Rinchenpong, which means assembly of places(source: wikipedia) is actually a small village in West Sikkim, North East India.

Singshore bridge, asia's 2nd highest Bridge which is not operational for vehicles currently. Singshore Bridge in Sikkim is one of the best places to visit in Sikkim.
Dentham Valley, at an altitude of 1500meters this valley offers a spectacular view.

For this trip you'll need your RTPCR Negative report along with Covid Vaccine 1st Dose Certificate as per the updated covid guidelines by the west bengal government
If you already had both of your vaccine doses then carry that certificate.

How to Reach:
NJP/New Jalpaiguri Station is the nearest Railway station. You can take a train from your nodal to reach NJP.
Bagdogra is the airport in Siliguri/New jalpaiguri area.
In case you want to fly directly to Sikkim then Pakyong is the airport in Sikkim. it's 30-45mins drive from Gangtok, Sikkim.
Best Time to Visit Sikkim:
Based on altitudes you need to choose the season, low altitude areas can be visited anytime, high altitude areas should be avoided during monsoon and winter.
