I think there is a leak because you fit it in wrong way. You must exclude the adapter from 31mm to 51mm(the rounded part) so it will fit correctly.

why did you install the reducer when your pipe is same diameter as the inlet of the muffler. WTH

I used one of these on a GSXR1000 and it works well. I did not use the tapered cone and would not recommend it unless you have to use it. Instead, I had an adapter pipe made to joint the header to the muffler which eliminates the restriction and exhaust turbulence caused by the smaller cone inlet inside the header outlet. You want to have as little restriction to exhaust flow as possible, which is the whole reason for putting on a glasspack in the first place; so putting the cone in, with its small inlet hole, is the opposite of what you are trying to accomplish and may have a detrimental affect on higher RPM performance as well as cause overheated exhaust valve issues during extended high RPM runs. At the very least, cut the cone back to be as short as necessary to adapt the muffler to the header.

i think, the fake one is good enough.. but wait until 2 years and u will think that original is always better... but if u want to comparing something, compare it apple to apple.. leo and akra have really different sound.. compare it akra original and the fake one, then u will see the differences...

Buy a repacking kit online and repack it, good as new

When comparing different brands of stubby slip on, I am not sure how it would affect engine performance, as they all allow exhaust air to free flow. The the main difference between Chinese and know brands slip on is that they have less padding to muffle the sound.

I have the same Akrapovic in all titanium look, it's awesome, 70$ off beat. Sounds better than exhaust I have ever had. And it's only on a cbr500r, 2018, sounds like a 750. Best bang for the buck I have ever done

Bro, is there any leak of smoke from bendpipe and adapter. I have the same exhaust but I like to modify like this, please say it....

I bought one for a buddy of mine. He installed it in his CBR250. Sounds good with a single cylinder.

I had installed this Chinapovic on my Honda CBR 929 RR 2 years ago... I have done 10000 klm and works fine... before put this exchaust my bike wear original Acrapovic...but was old and i want to replace it...so I install this exchaust from China...the bike goes the same and sounds good...

I can say it worth it as heaven. Mine was 63€ and I love the look, the sound (with dbkiller), the quality. Ride out in august, 35ºC, right after 150 km I can touch the slip-on with the hand. True carbon fiber!! My next bike will the s1000, I'm not wasting 2k in a 1st line brand exhaust, that's for sure.

if you test the exhaust in 4 cylinders it is difficult to feel the difference. but if you test the exhaust in 2 cylinders then you will get a difference that feels

Leovince best sound but the difference of prize is very big. I choose fake akrapovic

you need a dynojet power commander to fix your fuel and ignition problem. it'll stop that horrible back firing

Its not back firing.....its engine braking so engine pulls air into the zorst and pops with fuel.

That muffler should've slipped over the header pipe, not inside.

If you look at the assembly, It's not even connected to the header, the connection is made by that crap conical insert

Exactly think your mid pipe is 60mm and the muffler is 51mm? The muffler should på 60mm on that mid pipe.

and db killer is supported till 600cc, with a 998/1000 engine the end of muffler shall be "ejected", btw the engine will suffer of a big power reduction. These fake muffler are compatible with off road bike (mid pipe adapters), or till 600 ccm bikes.

Have the same akra in my atv. From my experience this exhaust causes a lean mixture, so that's why you heard the pops Inserting the dB killer even in its louder position eliminate the pops, but I'm not sure if the mixture gets richer

I'm not sure, I'm just asking. But All aftermarket exhaust gives you a lean mixture unless if you retune the ecu right?

The Leo Vince will probably sound much better if you took the silencer out. The baffle that's bolted or riveted in the end of it.

I laughed my ass off because over the spring & summer 2023 I built a garage then built a custom chopper then now building a dual sport from a 250 cc pit bike 😅 my neighbors all around me 15 houses all around my 1 acre of land. Most have almost no land. Better detail starting to look like a double wide & triple wide park 😅

I thought the LeoVince sounded better, especially on the over-run. However, I am probably buying one of these for my Africa Twin - They are too cheap to say no too. Also I watched a vid where the cheap muffler made the same power as the expensive one.

I'm also tried the same thing on my new bike the same look exhaust from Lazada Malaysia after decatalizer same with my Benelli Leoncino original exhaust both found it overheat ,lost power and consume more petrol.After that my exhaust shop fabricate silencer type of tube at the head(not tail) of the exhaust area to control The Air(slow it down) it really improve the fuel consumption,sound better and heat reduction (for both pipe) even better than the factory pipe.Frankly speaking I felt the power is almost remain the same (I'm not high speed rider).So U need to control the air not too high flow,check your temperature,fuel consumption is the priority,if U found it improved I don't think U will have power lost,I don't think now I need a "Dyno" test?How to control the airflow? For my case I sent my bike back to reduce the air flow (decide by the engine temperature and fuel consumption).My workshop men charged me by a modification package I can send back to do the finetune without extra charges.So every week I change my exhaust.I will post a video in the future by my new sport cam & new bike,I stay in Penang Island (in Malaysia),I want to round this famous beautiful Island.U can see some of my video in my KZread Channel.
