Wow! Good for you! I‘ve got 4 Leonardo Da Vinci (3 pinks & 1 red), all are already 10 years in the garden, they are shrub roses, mine suffered a lot because of replanting, they used to reach 1,3 meters high.🌹

Thank you for the review. Does it get much blackspot, I am planning to have a garden bed of standard roses and this rose is definitely a candidate for it. 🌹

Hello! Leonardo da Vinci is one of the rose that gets the least of black spot. Most of my roses are healthy from late spring to early fall but around second week of this month, some get rust and black spot. I just removed all the affected leaves. I have been enjoying this rose for 11 years, it doesn’t have scent but the colour, form and sturdiness of the bloom to retain it’s beauty for 3 weeks or more is fantastic.

Hello! Sorry for this delayed response! Those were Forget-me-not and ground cover cushion Aubrieta. They are both perennial and self seeded so can easily spread in your garden. Thanks for your question!😍

Love your garden❤ does the climber bloom just 1 flush or more?

Thank you! All my climbing roses are repeat flowering varieties, I just need to do deadheading for the wilted roses then more new blooms will come.🌹

My 3rd time watching this one, thank you. Can you tell me, is there an actual leonardo da vinci climber ? or is it just up to the grower to train it to climb a little

Leonardo da Vinci rose belongs to garden bed or boarders. I haven’t seen it sold as a climber but you can buy it as a tree rose. I did train some of my garden bed roses to become a climber, it’s possible. Thanks for watching!🌹

Yes growing as a climber!:) awesome. Awesome awesome. I never knew you had this roses until recently. Much of what you said I didn’t know or wasn’t sure about, you confirmed some information for me. How old is the climber, is it working? It seems to be.

Hello! It is hard to choose, most of my roses are 10 to 11 years in my garden. Chippendale of Rosen Tantau and Schnneewittchen from Kordes are incredibly floriferous. All Parfuma collection of Kordes are excellent scent & form, all grown from bare- rooted roses. Meilland roses like Leonardo da Vinci are beautiful roses. I love them all! Thanks for your questions!🌹

Hello! The scientific name is Centranthus ruber 'Albus'. In Germany, it is called Spornblume, English name is fox’s brush. Thanks for visiting my channel!🌹
