To be honest I feel like for any of the movies If it is not a perfect one, over hype will lead to the let down of that movie. For LEO, If it would not have over-hyped, It could have been a superb movie. Also They could have used LCU factors effectively. But Somehow they have failed to fulfill that expectation. Vijay's acting was quite impressive. I think lokesh's upcoming movies will have a big responsibility that they have to regain the LCU's magic again.

You are always straight forward anna, you always ensure that you never hurts any one. Thanks for good content

Movie had a great potential to have a unique story line till the Sandy’s gang peak scenes. After that story kind of derailed. Treat for Thalapathy’s fan but a slight disappointment for Loki fan and general audience. I felt like loki is concentrating more on the technical aspect than on the story itself. VFX was inconsistent compared to the hyena scene(Hollywood level) and car chase scene(same as Master car chase).

What is the mark?

Think of it like this, Leo is a set up movie for LCU where we will get more entertaining Vijay. Not only that, its also make it a possibility for a standalone movie on Leo 2 which may include flashback on, Das&Co, Antony, Harold and most importantly Leo where he can explore the characters in depth. Its just like watching any other marvel superhero movies where they explore the superhero character in the 1st movie. Then they explore it more in subsequent movies and connect it to MCU. Look at it in that angle and you may appreciate what we were given. I personally feel Loki held back many things so he has a wider scope in future LCU movies.

Very Predictable if you've watched history of violence. Thalapathy's acting was brilliant. Lokesh knew the remake of history of violence is not going to satisfy the audience, maybe thalapathy fans would've enjoyed, but to create a hype between general audience, he included 1 small character from kaithi and another voiceover at post credit, which looked like those LCU things were forcefully implemented into a standalone movie.

The well-built villains the build up all suffered from weak characterization, flashback, sister character, half cooked product even LCU characters were forced into this in climax.

Good genuine review after long time. Last time lokesh scored over nelson's beast with vikram. This time have to honestly say Nelson's jailer has scored over lokesh's leo in terms of villain characterization & 2nd half. Vinayagan in jailer was a more powerful villain than half baked arjun & sanjay dutt in leo. First, time, lokesh missed to write a strong antagonist.

I think the point where leo failed a bit was the love portions in second half...the action and everything was perfect but those first 15-20 min of secnnd half is just a lag to sit through....an easy 3.5/5 but can be better

@@vsansanv29101_sd the love story in first half was actually enough for us empathize with parthi...what we needed was good emotional connect between Leo and Melisa in second half...or between Sanjay and leo ..but instead of that more portions were for the family with Trisha...may be removing that and adding this could have given the flashback more strength

only action sequence alone won't make the movie super hit. A movie should have good content which is missing in the movie, whatever available content also so weak plot. What is the use of technically and acting is good but without content? Vijay performance is awesome, but gone in wain due to poor story line and flat screen play.
